    Best modem for the price. I don't want to buy a combo modem-router... I want to choose each one individually based on features. Combined it with a nice multi gig router!

    This was a piece of garbage. I had it installed by the internet provider (Xfinity). Within 2 hours it stopped working. The unit got so hot that it burned my hand if i touched it. I would unplug it, let it cool down, plug it back in and it would work for about 45 minutes and then overheat. My research on the Arris customer forums show this is a common problem. I boxed it back up, and returned it to my local Best Buy, and replaced it with a Netgear modern that has run well for the past month. I had always bought Arris (Motorola) modems in the past - never again.

    Great modem had connection issues with my last one randomly losing signal and ever since I got this internet hasn’t disconnected and puts out well connection to my router

    My ISP is Wave, replaced their awful modem with the ARRIS and started saving $20/month. Cutting over from the ISP was simple, turned right up.
