First was a NetGear Nighthawk that gave me quite a bit of trouble . I ultimately replace it with this Arris S33. This was on the list of recommended equipment from XFinity. Setup went smooth and network performance is good.

Explained how we would connect at home-and it went very smoothly. He also mentioned that we should upgrade to 500 channel wifi with Cox- to get the best wifi for the wifi needs and the size of our house. We took his instructions and wifi is working great.

It was not particularly easy to set up, but that was primarily due to Comcast / Xfinity not provisioning the modem properly. It also turned out that, although Comcast had told me my old modem was faulty, which caused me to buy the Surfboard, it was actually a wiring issue outside my house which had been the problem all along. Having said that, I am very happy with this modem
