Excellent new router that I use with my Comcast Xfinity Service. Very efficient router. Would highly recommend.

This is an amazing cable modem that is ready for today and setup for tomorrow with how bandwidth is becoming a major demand for homes.

Great 2.5 Gbps ethernet port for over 1 GB of Cable Internet. No issues at all since installing and setting up.

Worked great for four months with Spectrum gigabit service. Last week became very hot and just stopped working. Arris claims that this has a two year warranty, but customer service has been terrible. They have made me run through numerous hoops with countless hard resets and power cycles thinking eventually this will fix the problem. Confirmed proper MAC address through Spectrum. Bought a Motorola today which worked immediately.

Well..........probably not the review Arris wants but here it is. The modem worked great for about 2 and a half weeks. Blazing speeds for the plan I was on, actually exceeded what my plan stated I would receive. Then it all went down hill, the modem started getting hot and would drop signal. It would regain signal but a couple of minutes later drop signal again. Arris has a good reputation so maybe I just got one that had issues. Ended up returning it and purchased a Netgear modem......

I’ve gigabit speed with Xfinity. I was excited to get this one. But after using it couple of days, I realized it is only giving 600 mbps. Xfinity support says boot file is not compatible. Had to return it

Best modem in the market i can stream and do online gaming without any problems.

Just had over a year now, started making this really annoying soft squealing noise and just wouldn’t go online anymore thankfully I have the geek squad protection

This unit works well. It carries my laptops and wireless cameras just fine.

Make sure if you have xfinity and need unlimited data you check if this still works. Having the xfy package requires thr modem from xfinty

I’m a previous owner of the arris SB8200 modem. The SB8200 modem was the best modem ever, it never gave me any issues or dropped my internet. I used it for over 4 years problems free. When the Arris SB33 came out, I was really excited about it since it’s the upgraded version of the SB8200. Right out of the box it gave me problems. After setting it up, it gave me only 200mbs download speeds. The advertised speeeds are 2,100! The SB8200 consistently gave me 950 mbs downloads and never had an issue. Well, I’m returning this tomorrow and getting back my sb8200

So far so good it’s an excellent modem. It doesn’t come with a router. You will need to buy your own router to get WiFi in your home.

So far this item is functioning as advertised. My home Wi-Fi is performing much better with zero interruptions.

I’ve been using this modem for about 7 months. The entire time it’s been very hot. It produces way too much heat. And then one day the internet stopped, and when I went to investigate, this modem had no signs of life. It was in a well ventilated, flat area. It had no reason to be so hot that it melted itself 7 months later.
