It doesn’t disappoint as I can see download/upload of 1600/330Mbps and even has the ability to turn off the LED to help darken the room. Also solves the rental fee problem, if you dont mind tending to your own network equipment.

Avoid This Model

It's a very small footprint, so it runs hot and drops the signal constantly throughout the day. After several days of troublehshooting, speaking with Cox, and testing my equipment, everything pointed to this S34 Modem. It was hot to the touch and would run hot all day. Don't waste your time or your dollars. Best Buy had a very short return window on this item, which I missed, so I was out several hundred dollars. Not happy.

DO WASTE YOUR TIME !!

Wow… pure trash, would only pull 500 out 1GB plan, overheated, dropped connection, would not hold a profile- PURE JUNK !!! Xfinity tech came out and confirmed modem is TRASH. Returned at BB replaced with Netgear CM2500 speed test 1000mbps and ZERO ISSUES. DO NOT BUY THIS TRASH

Overheating

Hooked it up all was good until a few days later, the internet will randomly stop working and router will drop out, resetting the modem fixes it, noticed that the modem is very hot and doesn’t have a built in fan, seems this think has a major overheating problem just like the s33. Return period was out after 15 days, it would be nice if the return window was a little longer since I’ve only had it 1 month, tried returning it after 17days but it was too late. Don’t waste your money.

Don’t Buy Product Overheats

Not for Cox buisness customers

Box says its compatible (which I am sure it is) weasels at Cox say its not and I have to use a much older DOCSIS 3.1 modem. Not happy, not with BB or this device but Cox.
