Cut the Comcast land line

All it took was one call to the internet provider and the modem was working without any flaws. However, there is one flaw. It only has one Ethernet port. Everything else is flawless.

Worked perfectly with Comcast

Once I gave Comcast the MAC address, serial number, and model number, the modem worked flawlessly. While there are cheaper models in the series, I would recommend going with this one since it's the most future-proof for maximum bandwidth capability. The only complaint that some people may have is the blue glow from the internal LEDs that light up the entire area around the modem. Personally, I like having it act as a night-light in my home office, but that's me...

It needs rebooting every once in a while

I didn't have a defective one (or so I think) like some people here, it heats normal...
