Great and reliable so far

Have not had any major networking or internet issues since buying this modem. Hopefully that continues to be for the foreseeable future. One thing that could be better though, is the base of the modem. It does not balance all that well to stay upright.

New name, great performance...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Some of these still have the Motorola logo on them, although that part of Moto was bought by Arris a few years ago. Regardless, it's the latest generation of the SurfBoard series, and performs just as well as if it said Motorola on it. It finds and uses all 16 DOCSIS 3.0 channels on Charter, and has had much more stable throughput than the 8 channel unit I previously had. I think this is a safe bet.

Arris Modem

No more rental fees
