Basic modem for Optimum Internet

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since Optimum only uses older system to transmit the Internet, I purchased this to stop paying the monthly modem fee. It works excellent and has provided a strong signal at 200 mps. My only complaint is not with the modem, it is with Optimum not enabling me to use a Docsis 3.1 modem. This is only 16-4 channels.
