Great Modem

The first one, a NetGear, didn't work out. It was slow (10 Mbps) and frequently dropped its connection. This modem, on the other hand is screaming fast and solid. I consistently get speeds of 80-90 Mbps - the extra channels help with speed and it seems to do a better job at staying connected.

I had originally had bought my modem through my cable provider, but refused to be charger an extra $10 a month. I was in store and saw this modem and asked for help and the sales rep stated this was a better modem than netgear, honestly I agree. I have no complaints.

Recommend for replacing Xfinity modem/router combo

We constantly had to reenter the password multiple times to get access. The distance is much improved and now provides uninterrupted streaming in our bedrooms. We don't have a large house so it was terribly aggravating to pay that much and not be able to use it everywhere. Don't wait any longer to upgrade!
