Replaced a Comcast modem to eliminate the monthly rental fee. Saw no difference in performance and have had no problems. It paid for itself in a few months. Using it with an ASUS wireless router.

And if you're having connection or speed issues, this is one of the best modems for minimizing that impact. I'm getting better signal levels than ever, and almost never see an uncorrectable come through. This modem is paramount for gaming and streaming.
