You want the fastest 300 Mbps speeds from your ISP then this modem is a must. Reasonable price to own your own saving the monthly rental fees. Works flawlessly, no issues, delivers speeds as advertised, highly recommended.

It does what it is supposed do, but if in bedroom, it lights up like you have a lamp on, put under desk, and still see a glow coming out from under desk. It was the only one that was compatible with Optimum , so cant take back, I am saving 10 dollars a month.

Easy to use, inexpensive and dramatically faster upgraded Modem then that supplied by my cable company and over the near term pays for itself verses cable company rental fees. Easy to install and a pleasure to use!

I’ve had this modem for a couple weeks and so far, so good. It was reasonably priced and delivers the full speed of my cable internet. Plus, it saves me $11/month in modem rental from Comcast.

Modem works great with either Cox or Comcast, no issues setting up just call and read the s/n on the bottom and the representative will add to the account.

Easy to setup and connect to my wireless router as well. Upgraded from a older model that got destroyed from a lightning strike and this produces the same great performance.

This modem is easy to set up and the indicator lights are basic but good. It works well with my time machine. The speeds it can handle are higher than what I get from Comcast now so there is plenty of room for growth.

This modem is just too of the line. Purchased to replace TWC rental modem router. Currently using with Asus RT AC-3100 and Internet download speeds are going up to 350mbps from a 300mbps plan. Totally worth it.

Decided to change my Comcast modem for my own modem. Best buy staff were able to help me chose the correct modem for Comcast and also a router. The modem was a great price and was easy to set up.

upgraded from a SB6141 to the SB6183 due to Time Warner bumping up Internet speeds. Easy install, quick call to TWC to register the modem with them and I instantly went from 22mbps down / 5mbps up to over 230/22.

When TWC started charging almost double for modem rental, I decided it was time to buy my own. This modem meets the requirements for TWC's highest speeds, was a simple phone call to install. Totally satisfied so far.

This is a great deal for the money. Has 12 channels and great max speeds. Unless you need a Gig downstream speed, this is all most people will need. Beats renting from Xfinity as well.

I got the Arris SURFboard 600 to replace Time Warners modem and I am glade I did. It is super easy to set up and much faster then what I had before. The cool thing is it lights up then the lights are low.

I bought this modem to replace my Arris SB6190. So kinda downgraded it. Best decision ever! I was having many problems with my internet such as slow speeds, dropping connection, etc. Had multiple service calls and they came out to diagnosis the problems. They got the cable lines perfect. Well come to realize the problem was the SB6190 which after hours of researching the modem it seems that many others are having the same issue. I set up the new Arris SB6183 and all the problems went away! I wish I would have known this years ago! I highly recommend the Arris SB6183. It has also been a top pick for modems of 2019!

This modem was purchased to replace the rental cable modem on my monthly cable bill. Works perfectly, easy setup and communication with existing cable company. Smaller than the cable modem it replaced and runs cooler. Pays for itself in 5 months!

Works great with my netgear nighthawk ac dual band router running 5 samsung galaxy phones 3 galaxy tabs 3 laptops 2 tvs and a desk top great speeds no slow downs or hicups both tvs are usualy steaming netflicks or hulu while my boys are playing lol on line on the desk top and laptop and is surfing the web on a laptop or phone.we live on the 3rd floor and get full bars in our friends apt on the first floor at the other end of the building. You cant go wrong with this product and nighthawk router

Great so far been using the Sb6183 for about 2 months works very well stays warm but not hot and always performs perfect speeds are for lower than what it can really do but its producing 180mbps with ease

I was told by my provider over a year ago that I needed an upgraded modem. I moved a month ago and decided to get the upgraded modem. Unlike my old modem, this lights up the room like a night light or even brighter. I'd rather it didn't. Also it is quite warm to the touch, maybe due to the lights.
