A decent upgrade from the SB6121
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the older SB6121 Cable Modem and while I may not like the color (The old modem was black, this one is white), the throughput has been pretty good. In my area, I am not on the top tier internet connection, but the extra channels does allow for less issues with connectivity versus the 4 channels on the older SB6121 Cable Modem.

Install was simple and so far has maintained a steady and quick connection.

Increased my internet speeds to reach 200 Mbps

I had a later model Motorola modem, which worked great, but it was capped at 100 Mbps. After setting this modem up I am now running at speeds upwards of 200 Mbps!!!

Excellent modem

Although I'd recommend the newer version of this modem that was released a couple of weeks ago that has 32 bonded downstreams for gigabit connections.

I had an initial issue and was able to isolate the issue and get TWC out to fix the issue. It is a great modem if you already have a wireless router.

Replacement for rented modem
