How does one rate a modem? As long as it does what it is supposed to do for a reasonable price, there's not much to say. One quality which will not be known for some time is how long it lasts. The modem that this one is replacing lasted less than three years.

Bought the modem at the recommendation of my cable company to improve my internet speed. I didn't really notice any difference but I think that speaks more to my cable company than the quality of the modem.

You pretty much just plug and go. Super easy setup.

The modem has been working well in my house for a while now. I'm using it with Comcast and a 250Mbps plan. No complaints so far, in fact it even has an interface to see status and any errors if they happen.

Have had this modem for a couple of years now. Still going strong and no issues with it. Had all the basics things that I need with a modem.

Bought this as my old Arris modem was several years old and could no longer handle my data transfer. Unplugged the old modem and plugged this one in, called cable company and voila... set up. Its able to handle live streaming and watching movies in hd with no problem all at the same time.

I only pay for 25 mbps, so this is plenty for me. 4-stars because there is only 1 Ethernet-out jack to go to the router. If you also want to hardwire your Xbox or something this won’t do that. Sometimes your router has an out jack that will work, but mine does not.

Read multiple tech articles before purchase. Was even endorsed by my techhie nephew, who assisted w/set-up. Great product, multiple users with complex tech needs in household, no issues.

Our two-story, five-person household has more than a dozen devices connected 24x7, which involves (among many other simultaneous online activities) HD gaming and video streaming/uploading/downloading.

Connects easily, runs cooler than the unit it replaced. Looks good. Only one output, so probably want to connect it to a router with multiple ports if you want hard wire connections.

I was using a Brighthouse-provided modem and the connectivity was TERRIBLE. I bought this at the recommendation of the sales person. They said they had one at home. I purchased it and it is excellent.

I bought this to replace a suspected bad Motorola modem, turned out it's the Cat5e cable was bad. I returned the modem, not needing it afterall.

This unit has worked just as advertised. It has operated flawlessly, no complaints whatsoever, much better value than renting Xfinity‘s $13 a month modem.

The modem that came with my cable company was subpar. This allows for more output and a strong signal so that all of our technology in the house is not fighting for the same small amount of wifi.
