Bought this modem to replace a Netgear Modem/Router. One quick call to my ISP and I was up and running. Have not had one single problem with the modem or my internet connection since. IT JUST WORKS!

Actually, I bought this in error. I needed one with a telephone line & this didn't have one. I waited too long and couldn't return. I gave it 5 stars as I am sure it is a good product, but I didn't get to use it.

I bought this so that I can stop paying TWC 10 bucks a month for an inadequate modem/router. I already have an Asus gigabit router that I paired with this modem and the combination works very well.

This particular modem for me was a great purchase choice and was a "future-proof" purchase: if my ISP up'd my speeds again I wouldn't need to purchase a new modem for a while.

I don't know what I would do without Best Buy and the Geeks. Simply the best to learn about what's up!!

Split the crappy router and modem combo that Mediacom gave us (they kept telling us that wasn’t the problem) and got this and a better router. No more WiFi problems.

We were suffering serious buffering issues when streaming tv shows. We use a lot of bandwidth in our house. I wish I would have gotten rid of my rented equipment sooner. I highly recommend buying your own modem and router and give the rented equipment back to your ISP.

Easy to set up. Fast boot up, faster and more stable connection. Worth the money and better option from that of your cable company loaner. I would recommend this to a friend

I was tired of paying cable company monthly charge for the same product do I bought this myself. Should pay itself off on less than one year.

In the long run it is worth it to just buy your own modem instead of renting from your cable provider. Its a little pricey but it gets the job done. So far I have not had any problems with the modem.

No complaints at all. This is very simple to set up (just a few minute call to your internet provider). And, I'll pay for it within a year because of the reduced monthly "rental" fee from my provider.

This one was available after my old one died a fine death. I do not regret this modem, but would not be able to pick it out of a line up if my life depended on it.

Haven't been able to test the full capabilities but works well. You will need to pair a 802.11ac wireless router with this. My old wireless N router can't keep up. Overall this product works well.

Comcast randomly interrupted our well functioning service, telling us we were required to upgrade our modem in order for our internet and cable to work at the same time. They recommended this modem, which worked well for about 2 days before our the internet and cable began not working at the same time. When we called Comcast back, we were told that another newer model of this modem just came out and we would need to upgrade our upgrade. Instead of going all the way back, we added a splitter to allow for both cable and internet to work at the same time. Since it seems that the internet providers and Arris are in cahoots on this upgrade issue, make sure you check with Best Buy on what is the latest technology and with your cable/internet provider to see what modem is compatible with their services.

This modem is working great and keeping Time Warner out of my pocket with their ungodly high modem rental fees !! I already had a great wifi setup so i just got this to handle the cable hook up.

Major happy with this product - have great wifi throughout the house no matter how many gadgets are drawoing on band width. And I am surrounded by desert mountains !! Highly recommend

Was looking to take advantage of the recent doubling of speeds from Comcast 'cuz my old modem wasn't doing the trick, but apparently there is more to it as this modem changed nothing. Once I upgrade the router, then we'll see. Much more capable modem, though. Always good to plan for the future.
