I purchased an SB6183 cable modem as an upgrade from an SB6121. Both products work flawlessly, but now with the SB6183, I have 16 bonded channels all with excellent S/N ratios.

Way fater, much better and although it does not have the WiFi capabilities, with another deice got a much better WiFi and internet speed than the "best-modem" option I had.

First one comcast was unable to get a Ip address from modem. I returned it for a new one and has worked fine since. Nice not to have to pay 10 dollar lease fee from Comcast

I have been a long time Comcast Customer and finally decided that the modem rental was not offering me any value. I bought my own, I save money, and I couldn't be happier.

Not sure if I purchased the right model for the performance I’m looking for. It works but I would like to see a higher grade model to compare.

Just plug in all the necessary wiring and it boosts Wi- Fi connection. Just what I needed since starting to work from home.

Mediacom gives you a terrible router. I upgraded to this one and my life is so much better. Glad that the store associate recommended this, very helpful.

The modem is a stand alone with one port which I connected to a router NETGEAR AC 9100. Amazing combo my WiFi and internet connection is stable and quick.

From the reviews I read, I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Unfortunately I had to return mine because I also needed a router. This brand is excellent though.

With 16 channels down, this modem does not miss many beats. Less data loss, with much better signal level readings than the 6141. Not much data download improvement however.

Since I have installed my new modem I haven’t had any problems with my internet service!well satisfied!

I bought to replace the one my cable company gave to me. Now we aren’t getting charged a monthly fee. Since we switched the network feels a lot faster now.

I thought I had to purchase the more expensive upgrade but this was perfect for the regular internet usage for my small family. This is Xfinity compliant and compatible.

After doing much research on modems the Arris is one of the best modems in the market highly recommend it .

I got this so I didn't have to rent the modem from cable company.This device practically payed for itself in less than a year.

Modem so far works well with Xfinity provider, I purchased it to take advantage of expanded features from Xfinity. Had difficulty matching with Apple Time Capsule. Working acceptably for last few weeks.

needed to replace my 6120 modem as it was end of life. since the 6183 had 16*4 channels it should last . Best Buy price matched it to Amazon which was 40 dollars cheaper.

Before I bought this I had to reboot my ISP provides modem all the time. After I bought this and it's been about two months, I've had no issues. This is some great hardware

Love this product. My WiFi is faster, especially with multiple user. I would highly recommend this product and having the Geek squad set it up as I did.
