    My modem seems to be working fine now. No issues. However, the first one I bought had to be returned bc it was faulty. Since it isn't "normal" (in my experience) for a modem to be faulty out of the box, it caused me a lot of headaches prior to realizing it was a bad modem. Having to replace the modem (with an identical product) was a bit disappointing, and thus affected my overall rating of this product. Again, current one is working fine.

    Good cable modem. However, don't expect Cox Cable to really support it. Cox throttles it to get you to rent a modem from them.

    This is a great modem, just make sure you don't have your home phone service running through your ISP, otherwise you won't be able to use it. :(
