After I purchased it, we found out that it would not be what we needed. I am sure this is a great product, just not what we needed.

Well made modem

However, my internet provider and I could not get modem to work. I had to return it and decided on a Netgear which worked just fine. Returning the item to Best Buy was no problem.

Actually needed the 3.1--I'm computer illiterate so wish the guy would have questioned me a bit....... but everyone was very pleasant.
