Doesn't seem strong enough

It was recommended by Best Buy and cable company. However, it just isn't strong enough. Bought a wifi extender, but that doesn't work. Keep the cable modem from the company. They seem to work better.

Burnt out after one use

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to go back to my old modem, which still works but just unreliably. But this new SB6183 modem that I just bought never worked again after getting super hot after just 3 hours of usage. I just have a laptop running a VPN and a PC connected to my router which is connected to it.

Works well, but no spare parts

However, heaven help you if the power cord gets mangled by a pet. Finding a replacement power cord that works has been impossible, which makes the entire modem useless.
