Replaced an older with this model and I am getting twice the speed

I've had this ARRIS - SURFboard 16 x 4 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem installed for only a month. So far- the entire process has been- knock on wood- perfect. Online order and delivery was easy and timely and undamaged. Price was very reasonable. Installation was a piece of cake- and compatible with Comcast/Xfinity. An online review paired this with a TP-Link wifi and it's proved to be accurate. There have been no issues with functioning or lock up, streaming a movie, video, zoom meetings, security. Made me look like a pro and hero. Now let's see how long the modem lasts.

said on the box it worked with spectrum, i talked to them and they said it wasn’t compatible, spent $100 and couldn’t return because it was too late.

I upgarded to the brighthouse 200 lighting speed this modem could only handle 100mb of speed, I need 200mb so it was return. I only recomment this router if you going to have less than 100mb download spee

“Set it and forget it” Easy set up - trouble fee performance.

I bought this thinking it would work with Comcast's 200/5 plan. Turns out, it doesn't. Internet connection was fast but unstable -- video calls for work and streaming multimedia pretty much continually flaked out. By the time I figured out the modem was the culprit, Best Buy wouldn't accept the return. Bottom line: Don't buy this modem. You will regret it.

Have never set up one before instructions in box were easy

This modem works great and looks great. Super easy set up!

We were hoping it would pick up channel 11. It picks up some channels okay, but there are still channels where you have to fiddle with the position to get a signal.

I bought this because I was sick of renting one with my cable company. it was a pain to set up and to get help setting it up, but once I did, it seems to work fine.

Solid reliable cable modem. No reboots have been needed.

Either my Internet service is inconsistent or this device is unable to process a consistent speed and only allows a connection to one other device versus being able to plug in multiple devices to it

This unit is ok if you just need a basic modem/router combo. It only has one (1) ethernet port most people need more then that. It is also very expensive for the price paid for the unit.

Very easy to install and worked perfect since day 1

This modem solved our problems. with our old modem and router we would have to occasionally discounted both to reset them. So far we have not had to do that with the new modem.
