Couldn’t get this to work at all had to wait for spectrum to come out and figure it out. They couldn’t come out right away and we went on vacation. They come out and said couldn’t use this one for what we need and now it’s too late to take back. Bad deal

Was not compatible with Spectrum cable internet. After many attempts from the Spectrum installer, it would not work at all. The installer had to use his Spectrum modem which he brought, and his modem worked right away. Returning ARRIS SB183 back to Best Buy.

This is a great little modem, it has not failed on me, have owned it for over a year now, always connected, always reliable, the only thing I don't like is how bright the lights are on it, it can be quite annoying at night, I usually just put something on top of it at night so it doesn't bother me. Besides that, I wish it was available in black so it matches the rest of my equipment, if you are looking for a good fast modem that doesn't break the bank, this is it, of course there are other ones such as the SBG6700AC but unless your Internet Provider can achieve that speed or you want to be future proof there's no need for higher speed modem.

This product was listed to be working for xfinity and one of the cheap product. But xfinity customer care was not able to activate this modem and had to return it get another modem.

Not sure why it is so slow but it has turned back time for us.

It looks very nice unfortunately it did not work out for my home.

Not what I wanted in terms of performance. i returned it.

This product worked for one week. After a storm, the model was dead. The modem was connected to a surge protector. Would not recommend.

Had to return product, needed telephone connection.

Did not work with my Apple airport extreme router.

Worked great for 2 months. Started to smell like it was burning. I returned it to Arris and got a replacement. The replacement started the burning smell too!!! Got Arris to authorize a refund and bought a Netgear CM500 and it's been great!!

Although the box states all compatible companies it does not work with Xfinity. They don’t recognize this brand . Went through the process of setting everything up to no service.

We were told we needed a new modem because right now we have a modem router combo. This only has one port in the back of the system so we could not use it and had to return it.

I bought this router a year ago and now is dead. It worked fine until now. Very disappointed. Now I have to buy a new one cause best buy will not take it back.

I am not happy with either TIme Warner or this Motorola modem. The cable company cannot access it and I can't get a signal to it. They say it is the modem. No matter, I am going to return it ASAP. Not worth the price.

But the thing only worked for 4 months before I had to replace it. Its the quality of products bestbuy carries that gives these manufacturers a bad name.

Best Buy would not replace my previous Modem, purchased 5 months ago. Told me I needed to send it back to the Manufacture, I needed a new Modem that day. I will NOT purchase another one from Best Buy.

Supposedly a very good modem, while it works. Modem died, 6 weeks after purchase and installation. Not a question of will it die, but when. Returning for store credit.

Wasn't a good modem and best buy doesn't back it's products just another big business ripping consumers off

I was told by FIOS customer service the unit would work. When the FIOS technician arrived he informed me the unit was not compatible with fiber optic connections, only coax. I will return it.
