Needed to replace damaged modem and wanted one which could accommodate many devises connected at once.

i have bought thei modem 3 years ago, until now it is working very good. there is no problem in connectivity. i will recommend this product definitely.

Excellent modem for streaming. from cable source. Nothing fancy . It just gets the job done. Had it since early November and it takes about 1.5-2 minutes to recycle and if your ISP is doing its job, this modem will do its job. 4 lights and NO ISSUES!

My sons used to battle and sceam about who was using all of the bandwidth causing their games to freeze. This combined with the other hardware has ended the fueding. Unfortunately I neve see my kids because they are glued to their devices gaming non stop, Is that a bad thing?

Arris 6183 is much faster than 6121. It is evident when I surf the net.

I thoroughly enjoy my new modem. It will pay for itself by no longer renting from my cable company provider and it works much better. I can also review its error logs to help determine what may be causing problems with my internet connection.

I had constant drop outs every day. Countless service calls, replacement units to no avail, and each month paid $7.98 to "rent" equipment that was sub-par at best.. That all has changed with this modem purchase.

i got tired of "renting" a modem, so decided to buy one. I am very pleased with this modem. I get faster connection speeds, and always good connections. For the money, I do recommend this modem.

I really can't comment on how well this works. Im no expert with this type of stuff but I could always get the clock on my VCR's to stop blinking. After about 2 hours of fiddling with this thing I called Charter to assist with detecting a signal. They could see the modem but couldn't talk to it. So 45 minutes later we set up a service call 2 days from now. Tech comes and does her thing. Upgrades a lot of parts outside. OK. Still no communication. Makes a call and talks to someone, reads off the numbers from the modem... This unit is registered to someone and can't be used at this location... Wonderfull... Now what? The tech looks at me and says "You know we give modems at no charge now and its the same brand. Maybe one step down plus its black." Ten minutes later Im up and running. So I returned the modem for a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 Router. Works Great.

We bought this when we were finally able to get cable instead of having to have satellite and having our WiFi via our phone carrier. Works great no need to pay a monthly fee via cable company.

This is the best device for the price you pay to get rid of your cable company's rental modem. It has more channels and is new as opposed to the recycled stuff they give you.

This modem is good to get if you have multiple devices connected on a single network. Gives better flow. Like how the best buy sales associate explained it by is having more traffic lanes opened the more you have the more traffic/data flows.

I bought it but then returned it because I assumed that it was wireless when I read that the arris models are the best modems out there for a great price. Great for desktops but I mostly use my mac so yeah.

these are items you should be instead of renting from the local cable carrier. They work super fast and will enhance your internet signal

Easy to setup. Perfect for my TWC 300Mbps connection. Has 16 download and 4 upload channels. It is reliable and will not disappoint.
