Smelly Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The device works except it smells terrible after a few months of use. Best way to describe the smell is that of a body odor. I had to call up support and request a replacement. The support agent did not believe me even though there have been numerous complaints about the B.O. smell from other customers on amazon and other sites. After I convinced him of such smell, he was able to send me a replacement but I had to pay for shipping. However, after a few months of usage now, again, this device begins to emit the same smelly odor. I'm through with this device from Motorola. It's ridiculous how they don't improve the product after all these smelly complaints and continue to ship them.

Simple set up; No Comcast
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Device is simple to set up, but does not work with Comcast; as an "aged out" product, it could not connect; had picked out a different product in the store, but sales rep convinced me to buy this one and a separate router; original choice would have worked.

Some advice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cheap but only lasted 4months tried returning it and told they can’t do nothing about it since the return date has ended so if you plan to get a new router try investing in Motorola or netgear I had a Motorola and it lasted me more than 5 yrs and the netgear at my sisters house has also lasted her

Waste of money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had nothing, but issues with this thing, since it was purchased. To make matters worse, the manufacturer's customer service is absolutely horrible and making it extremely hard to get it replaced. To top things off, I think its decided to go out tonight and I've only had it for 4 months now.

SB6183 disappoimted
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just returned the Arris SB6183 Modem it wasn't any faster than the one TWC gives its customers for MAXX Ultimate 200mbps. Even that one doesn't give you anywhere near 200 mbps, It was below 87mbps. I did a speed test on the SB6183 and it was 77, 80 mbps , so i returned and reinstalled the TWC modem. I really don't think you can get 200mbps from time warner.

Not worth the money!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This piece of junk stopped working after 30 days. I called Arris to see if they would honor their warranty. They didn't. Do yourself a favor and buy a Netgear router instead.

stops working at two months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Suddenly dead this morning. Are you kidding me? Bestbuy refuse to replace it, so I have to contacted Arris for a replacement, and I have to pay $20 for getting a new device and shipping back the old one. This is ridiculous. Right now I have no internet (except my data).
