Unfortunately had a lightning strike at my house and had to replace my cable modem. I rented one from Cox, but was tired of paying for it each month. This was the best modem for the price I could find. If you are replacing your modem with Cox, you will need to call in and have the old one swapped to the new one on your account.

This cable model was recommended as a replacement for one we purchased a few years ago. Since my husband did the installation, our internet has been much better and is much more reliable. Guess the old one was just worn out.

I used this product for a couple of days before it just stopped working altogether, I am sure it was just a defect though. It was very easy to use and set up. I ended up using the modem from my ISP because it was free and they shipped one to my house regardless of the fact I didn't select that option.

I have had this modem for a couple months and have had no complaint. No more data lag as with older modems. This product is more than capable of handling current broadband. The only limitation has been on the end of my service provider in the data and speeds offered.

Signed up for comcast xfinity internet access a few months ago and wanted to purchase modem myself rather than lease it from them. I stream music, Netfilx, HBO-Now, etc with no problems. Haven't had to restart the modem since I first set it up 3 months ago.

Does it’s job! Replaced an older surfboard modem and nearly doubled my speed. Did t really pay attention to the fact that I wasn’t getting the speed I was paying for until I got this modem. Very pleased!

Outstanding. Made the purchase to end my monthly rental of the equipment from the cable company. Pays for itself in a year. It also works much better than the cable company equipment. Highly recommend.

After many years complaining about Time Warner equipment, we decided to purchase our own modem. TW makes it so convenient with approved lists of modems and a gateway connection at their website. Maybe they want to get out of the equipment leasing business.

This thing lifted my speed alot over the router that spectrum wants you to lease. So you save the money on the rental after about 5 months so get this and your speeds will go up and after 5 months you will be saving money every month!!

This is a good router. My last one worked for about 12 years and then I decided to upgraded to this one. Fast and reliable. I did curbside pickup, so hopefully I didn't get Chinese virus. Thank you all.

It’s a modem and doesn’t freeze up. Compared to other cable provider modems I’ve used and hated in the past, this one is exceptional. I’ve had it since March and have never had to reset it once.

Bought to replace a seven year old similar modem. This works great for us - we are not gamers and we use our internet primarily for work and school. Easy to set up. No problems so far.

I had problems streaming so I called my internet provider and asked to upgrade my modem. They told me there was nothing wrong with it. I decided to spend the money on the surfboard and my down load speeds went from 10-15 mb/s to 40-50 mb/s. Big difference. Only complaint is my upload speed stayed the same

Wow, I purchased this cable modem as a replacement for my DSL modem and what a difference! It installed without a hitch and I'm now wondering why I hadn't made the change earlier. I'm running it with the Linksys WRT1900AC Wi-Fi Router and they make a great combo!

It works with Cox Internet which is good if you have the service. I have a 50MB download plan and it’s working well with it. Not sure about higher internet speed plans

This is one of the few units that TWC supports on 300mbps. Don't be fooled by the other versions saying they will do up to 300mbps, they don't have enough downstream channels and aren't supported at those speeds. This thing is rock solid stable and super fast.

I have already recouped my money with this unit. This modem has done a good job for me so far. I have Increased download speeds, and have noticed no drop with the numerous wireless devices currently used in the home. The only draw back is the display is really bright at night and can be distracting. For me it's been a good purchase.

Previously tried an ARRIS SB 6141 modem which worked well for several months and then started providing very spotty intenet access. I was told that the 6141 was adequate for our needs, but we tried the upgrade with outstanding results. No issues now (yet)!

I got this to replace my highly rated expensive combo cable modem / router that failed after a year. I was getting less than 1MB/sec download speed and when I switched, voila! I got 50-60 MB/sec using this and my old wireless router.

A power surge zapped my old modem, so I needed a quick replacement. Best Buy to the rescue. They had the one I wanted in stock. Within an 30 minutes of returning home, i had hooked it up and my Internet provider had activated it. Amazingly quick & easy.
