This is a good router. My last one worked for about 12 years and then I decided to upgraded to this one. Fast and reliable. I did curbside pickup, so hopefully I didn't get Chinese virus. Thank you all.

Connected the Cable Model and contacted Comcast to setup the device. The Comcast phone tech was able to get the device setup in about 5 minutes. Now I don't have to pay rental modem fees to Comcast and have a much faster interface. Has worked flawlessly for a year now.

Was looking into modems to work well with Comcast, as Comcast signal typically gives me issues and since I've gotten the modem not a single issue has occurred. Comcast recommends this modem and states it is the best on the market for compatibility with their x1 service.

If you have Time Warner or Comcast or any of the other Cable ISPs this is a good modem to get and it will save you money in the long run because you wont be paying the modem rental fee of $8 and up a month. I just plugged it in and called Time Warner to have it added to my account and i was up and running and getting just as good if not better speeds that I was from the modem they provided.

Great product that was very easy to set up. Worked very well as soon as I connected it. Very pleased with the range and the speed of the wireless network created.

This was the first cable modem ever purchased since I've always been pretty anti-cable. My new location forced me to go this route however and, after reading many reviews, I decided on the SB6183. Set up was easy and coupling this with my ASUS AC router was painless. I've yet to achieve download speeds greater than 90 Mbps but that may be attributed to the apartment's cabling at the moment.

Paired this with a Nighthawk router and my speed has increased from 150mbs to 218mbs, ethernet connection.

I bought this after TWC increased their modem lease rates. It was on TWC's approved list and it was easy to set-up and then TWC was able to activate it. It is much faster than the leased modem and I'm very pleased. Why lease when this pays for itself in less than a year?

I was looking to cut my TWC modem rental fee. After looking at a couple of different options, I went with this one and it was easy to hook up, called TWC and they activated it and I turned in all my rented equipment. I will never go back to renting a modem again.

Purchased this modem to avoid Comcast rental, and for something to work in conjunction with my new Apple router. Very smart choice. They perform well together, no resets, and fantastic speeds from my connection.

Signed up for comcast xfinity internet access a few months ago and wanted to purchase modem myself rather than lease it from them. I stream music, Netfilx, HBO-Now, etc with no problems. Haven't had to restart the modem since I first set it up 3 months ago.

This thing lifted my speed alot over the router that spectrum wants you to lease. So you save the money on the rental after about 5 months so get this and your speeds will go up and after 5 months you will be saving money every month!!

I have had this modem for a couple months and have had no complaint. No more data lag as with older modems. This product is more than capable of handling current broadband. The only limitation has been on the end of my service provider in the data and speeds offered.

After many years complaining about Time Warner equipment, we decided to purchase our own modem. TW makes it so convenient with approved lists of modems and a gateway connection at their website. Maybe they want to get out of the equipment leasing business.

I purchased this cable modem when I switched over from AT&T to comcast. Instead of renting a modem from Comcast, it made more sense to purchase one from Best Buy. So far so good.

Went to the store to buy the Arris 6190 only to find it was out of stock. Needed a modem quickly so took this. does a reasonable job and my download speed is 220Mbps (I have 200 Mbps service.) Had a bump or two with it getting set up but after connecting to a new wifi router it has been very stable.

I have already recouped my money with this unit. This modem has done a good job for me so far. I have Increased download speeds, and have noticed no drop with the numerous wireless devices currently used in the home. The only draw back is the display is really bright at night and can be distracting. For me it's been a good purchase.

I had problems streaming so I called my internet provider and asked to upgrade my modem. They told me there was nothing wrong with it. I decided to spend the money on the surfboard and my down load speeds went from 10-15 mb/s to 40-50 mb/s. Big difference. Only complaint is my upload speed stayed the same

Wow, I purchased this cable modem as a replacement for my DSL modem and what a difference! It installed without a hitch and I'm now wondering why I hadn't made the change earlier. I'm running it with the Linksys WRT1900AC Wi-Fi Router and they make a great combo!
