I just got 200Mbps down and needed a router that could handle that much speed. This router handles that much speed without even breaking a sweat. If you need a router to handle high speed internet to your house, this is your router.

I bought this to replace the one I was renting from Spectrum, and it’s been perfect. It will have paid for itself in under a year for what they charge you to rent them now, so it was a no brainer!

I purchased this modem to replace 2 in 1 modem/router. Bought a tplink router (from other vendor) to go with modem. My previous modem/router was constantly dropping signal. Had to restart almost every day. So far I haven’t had to restart the modem. Has run flawlessly since I turned it on. Very pleased with preformence.

Plugged it up and it was ready to go. Tried using my cable companies automatic registration of the modem via their webpage but it wouldn't work. Likely will have to call and talk to one of their reps to get it registered if you pick this up. No issues thus far, working great.

I decided to purchase my own router when I realized I was being charged $10 a month by my cable company for the last 6 years!! Set up was easy, everything is running smoothly and it will have paid for itself in no time!

We purchased this again after lightening blew out our last one. We purchased the exact same one since it never gave us an issue. We are very impressed with the product.

We have this modem in two locations and both are very reliable. They have been online since purchase with no problems. One is on Comcast service and the other is on Cox. No problems with either company getting connected.

I was looking for a way to save on my internet charges and used to have a Motorola. I'm very happy with this modems performance and was easy to connect it to my Comcast account.

I had to call Xfinity to "whitelist" my modem by stating my modem's serial # so I don't have to pay them $10/month to rent the modem. Other than that, the product works well and I am future proofing myself for a few years

Bought the SB6183 to replace the SB6141. So far connection has been very stable, no unexpected reboots, and speeds have been on or higher than monthly service plan subscription.

these arris modems are the best in the world, i have never had a problem with it and i give it 10 thumbs up. it goes through over 600 gb of internet a month with out a problem, sadly i cant say the same for the routers!

Much faster and more reliable than my old DOCSIS 2.0 surfboard.

Research showed this to be a top performer, but I had to return it based on the fact that the Comcast package that Comcast sold me included the triple play [voice ] too, which I really didnt want, but it 'came' with it. So since I was paying for a landline, this modem doesnt have the port needed for that, so it had to be returned.

It has no buttons, and only 3 cables. I unplugged my old modem, plugged this one in, called and worked with Comcast for 30 minutes to activate the modem, called Arris to find out why I didn't then have "four green or four blue" indicator lights on (I had White, Blue, Blue, White), and was told the upper and lower blue and green LEDs are on the same driver, and that because the blue LEDs draw more current, the upper and lower green LEDs show white. The manual didn't mention this 3rd configuration. In an hour I was up and running. Comcast told me that I had to upgrade (to internet+) service to benefit from the new modem. We did. All's well.

so it has 16 channels and allows me to get online with TWC. It works. I bought a similar modem from Netgear that also had 16 channels (CM500) and that had trouble syncing so I replaced that with this. Seems to be reliable.

Saving money every month, and no issues at all. Installed and up and running in less then 10 min. Wow. My optimum has no issues what so ever. I guess my internet speed is ever better and steadier now.

I'm not a technical person so I can't tell you much about this item's technical performance. But after 30 days of use I perceive no issues. It was easy to install as well - just plug it in and it basically installed itself.

This was a replacement for my old one that was requiring too many reboots. This one has been installed about a month, not a reboot yet. Seems to work great. Reasonably priced too.

Currently using Time Warner's top-tier internet service (300Mbps/down, 20Mbps/up) and with this modem, I'm averaging around 320Mbps-340Mbps download. Sure, the SB6141 will handle it too, but I got this on sale and it just screams.
