I bought this this to replace my ISP's modem. The performance far surpassed the sub-par modem from my ISP. I no longer experience poor quality and have superior performance for online gaming and video streaming.

This modem is exactly what I needed. Getting it allows me to stop paying an extra $8 a month to rent a modem from the cable company. That's instant savings right there. Couldn't be happier with the performance as well.

This little modem works great. I use it with my internet provider, Cox. Works great for 300megs. I checked my speeds with the app Speed Test and is giving me 289megs on average.

recommended this to my mom who is switching providers and did not know you could bring your own modem for a low price and beat the rental fees. This is the only way to go!!

I replaced my SB6141 with this SB6183, double the number of channels plus Comcast will no longer support the SB6141 for much longer. I can really tell the difference with the new modem, much faster.

Got this in place of the rental offered by the cable company. Currently rocking at download speeds at 356MBps.. Upload running at 20MBps.. Looking forward to upgrading to Google Fiber. This should hold me until then.

the old one we had was needed to be replaced. Went to look at them and this is what they recomended....does the job. Had no problems, had to call comcast to get it to work. They had to change something on there end.

Bought this to help reduce the cost on my monthly Comcast bill. Not only did it pay its self off after 4 months. It performs way better than the rentals provided by Comcast.

The folks over at Motorola know how to make modems. The modem to buy for the speed and not having to pay for monthly ISP rental fee. You won't regret this purchase.

I've seen faster speeds with this modem. Granted I was using a really old modem. I'm so happy with this modem and looks cool.

My previous Motorola modem was in need of replacement so this was the model recommended by the Best Buy associate. Very easy setup, basically plug & play because Comcast recognized this modem immediately.

I read some reviews online and got this one in order to work with TWC's 200mb speedy internet connection. so far it works as expected for a couple of month. nothing to complain, I did get 200mb download speed.

Bought this to replace my failing SB6121. Night and day difference. I didn't go with the 6190 because DOCSIS 3.1 is rolling out so I didn't want to spend too much because I plan on upgrading later.

I purchased this to replace the cable modem supplied by the provider. Works great. I believe they still apply firmware updates to the device, since it is registered with them.
