Very happy with this purchase. Right out of the box, plug in, connect cables and it was up and running. I almost didn't call the cable company since it seemed fine, but I did. Highly recommend.

This is the second modem I've purchased. Definitely noticed the difference switching from dual router/modem to separate. This modem pushes great internet speeds!

This review is for the ARRIS SB6183 - not the 6190. After doing some research I decided on this specific model due to the complaints/issues some were experiencing with the 6190. Glad I went this route. Easy to install and just as easy to connect to network provider. Paired the ARRIS with an ASUS RT-AC86U and I am extremely happy with the speeds. That being said, I don't do any gaming on the network. Streaming media only. I previously utilized Cox' 50Mb offering and I was getting download speeds for Netflix ranging from 23 to 40Mbps in the living room. After reviewing Cox' latest offerings, the 50Mbps not being available anymore, I opted for the 100Mbps...for the same cost. SIDE NOTE - shouldn't have to call Cox to check on latest offers. Anyway, after getting the improved service and installing the ARRIS & ASUS Router, my speed has jumped considerably to the point where I am pulling 118Mbps in the same location. I know the modem was only part of the boost in speed but it has served it's purpose well and at this point I would definitely recommend.

I decided to buy my own cable modem when changing to Xfinity instead of monthly fees. This one has plenty of speed for downloads and pays for itself in the first year!

I bought this modem to support the 150/20 speed I ordered with Cox Communications. I have to say this modem is awesome! I'm actually able to reach 185 down. Worked out of box with no issues.

I just upgraded from the SB6121 because it keeps loosing signal and my internet connection, It was worthy now everybody at home have a realiable connection and my kids stop complaining!

Needed to replace my existing modem and this fit the bill. Price was right and offered the right level of access through out the house.

Better solution compared to an all in one router/cable modem/wireless. Had 2 all in one units before and they failed quick. This seems to rate as more reliable. Much higher performance also.

Needed this new modem when I switched internet providers from AT&T to xfinity. It does what it needs to do.

I had an very old modem for a long while and recently updated to this model. I have not had a single problem since I installed it. I am experiencing faster internet and no connection drops.

This modem is a giant step forward from my last netgear which was junk. Have not had any connection problems with this modem. Couldn't say that with my netgear one

I knew that I needed a modem, but had no idea how to choose one. The Best Buy sales person made a suggestion and was spot on. My modem is great!! Just what I needed.

I really like this modem because it is trouble free. We were looking for equipment that is better than the rental equipment provided by cable companies. I am very satisfied with this modem.

I did a little bit or research before I purchased this. And so far it has worked awesome with no issue and no speed drop. I made the purchase to not have to rent from my cable company.

Instead of renting a device from your provider you should buy a modem and separate router. This device will allow you to take full advantages of any speed offered by Comcast/xfinity.

Bought to replace the TWC rental cable modem. Will pay for itself in 9 months. Had TWC rep on the line during setup, which went without a hitch. Works at least as well as the TWC modem.

SB 6183 is a very robust modem. Its small and light weight. I bought the one in white. I use it with TP Link AC 1750 router. Price is expensive at $110 at Best buy inclusive of taxes.

Easy to setup. Very straightforward. One of the few modems in white.
