this was so easy to install, just plugged in and was online in a few moments. Sure beats paying $5 a month to rent from the cable provider, these things last a long time.

Big fan of Arris products. Replaced an older version of the surfboard that I had for many years.

I was averaging 35 mps with my old modem now I average 85 mps (I have 100mps plan). Really made a difference in speed.

Sped up my internet significantly in comparison to the junk they give you from the cable company. I use it with a Apple time capsule. Works like a charm.

After the gigabit upgrades in my area, this new modem allowed me to obtain download/upload speeds of 335/20... Rock solid modem..

We purchased a new modem to save money. Renting from our cable company cost $10 a month. This modern was about $100, so it will pay for itself within a year. Installation was easy, and it's doing the job it is designed to do, with no problems. I would expect no less.

Product works great. Bought modem because my older modem was no longer supported by comcast. Product was still being sold at store. Hope to get longer support for this one.

This is an outstanding modem that I run Comcast / Xfinity through. Its very easy to setup. Plug and play once you call and give your cable company the MAC address. Great modem!!!

This 16x4 modem is an easy to use and set up model to take advantage of Cox and Time Warners higher speed offerings to avoid the dreaded throttling and dropped packets.

I researched this modem before TWC upgraded their internet speeds. I am very pleased with this purchase. Speeds are greater with the sb6183 than what TWC said I would get with upgrade. Best Buy matched Walmart's price and I got this for less than $100. No longer paying TWC for modem lease. That shaves some $ off my monthly bill. Definitely happy with the sb6183!

This is an excellent modem but unfortunately some ISPs like time Warner require that you have their leased modem to achieve max speeds. This modem theoretically could have very fast speeds but if you have TWC beware

This modem works very well with my internet provider working at 120MB. Five adults in the house with XBox, computers and phones.

Great modem. Very fast and stable. Had previous issue with TWC router which needed to be reset often. No problems with this router so far and and performance/speed is much better.
