a lightning strike took out my previous modem (and router). After researching, settled on this one. No regrets, def the right modem to go with for us. Solid performance.

Works great for what I got it for. The reason for four stars is the lights on the front are blue and really light up the room. ( location in bedroom) but works good as a night light too. Guess turning it around or covering lights would work too.

Registered it with my internet service provider (Optimum) and it operates flawlessly. This is all I need since not being a TV owner.

Works perfectly. We were able to get away from Antietam cable and go to a much more reasonable system.

This modem worked well for my Cox internet. Just confirm that it's fast enough for your chosen speed at Cox as they won't activate it if it's too slow.

Easy to hook up, 2 minute call to time warner and it was working. Much better than getting raked over the coals by the cable company to lease one of their modems.

Replaced older modem, New one works well, no trouble activating, quick setup, had to call cable company and give them the new MAC address.

This modem did exactly what it was designed to do - provided fast internet connectivity and allowed me to stop renting a Mediacom modem. However after 6 months we started to notice a chemical burning smell coming from the modem. We also found that it was very hot to the touch when going long periods without a reboot. We returned it for a different one of the same model. Again we started having the same experience 6-9 months later with the second one. We wound up using a netgear router instead and so far so good (knock on wood...)

Got this so I wouldn’t have to pay modem rental fees for forever, and it’s been a great purchase. Couldn’t be happier.

Used this to replace my old modem. House hold only has 50 meg but this modem handles all our devices no problem.

Great product and quality! Quick set up and started working right away. I like the fact we no longer have the monthly modem lease fee with our local cable company.

Came quickly. I did not realize I needed an Ethernet attachment to set it up and my Mac does not have one. I sent for one and increased my interned speed as well. Waiting for dedicated quiet time in order to complete setup.

Works great… has only one ethernet port. it can get hot sometime.

Didn't want to pay the monthly lease for a cable modem and this Arris SURFboard 600 worked great. Hooked it up over a month ago and it has been rock solid. Great deal.
