DOCSIS 3.0 is obviously older and slower than 3.1 but my cable provider does not make sense to pay for the speed for 3.1 This was great value purchased during Covid. Got to wait in front of the store in the car and have it pre purchased online and picked up. Happy it's in stock when needed

Recently upgraded my internet speed and my old modem was not up to the task . After checking specs. and reviews online I purchased this unit. Take it out of the box, follow easy setup directions, and call your ISP with serial number and MAC address and your ready to go. Unit works smoothly with no problems. Any adjustments if needed can be done online.

The Arris SURFboard replaced my SB6141 as my provider increased the speeds from 200Mb to 400Mb. It performs as advertised. The only comment I have is that a restart of the modem is a fair bit slower than the SB6141. To be fair, this could be due to the extra amount of channels it has to setup compared to my old one. Speeds have gone up a fair bit all over the house. Overall I am very pleased with the unit.

Solid, fast, easy to use (though you will likely have to contact your provider's customer support to get it associated with your account I had to with xfinity. It wasn't that time consuming dealing with them once you found a person. Been up for months and no issues yet.

I had paid for the higher speed internet from Comcast, but was still only getting about 60 mbs download speed. I upgraded to this hardware and started getting 112 to 115 consistently. I paired it with my Asus router and I get those speeds even on my wifi channels if I'm within range, so very happy with this modem. It hasn't dropped offline once either.

Simple setup and is very fast and reliable. Would recommend.

Love this gadget, saves me about 15 dollars a month and works awesome. Have it setup with a mesh system and it does great. Installation is the only part that might take you a couple minutes more to setup. But is not complicated some basic computer knowledge will make this setup easier.

We have been using this for over a year, and everything appears to be going well. I was able to set it up myself. A Cox representative who was checking our system said this was a good modem. We get consistently good speeds, and so far we have no complaints.

Not much to say, it isn't exactly an exciting product, but I hooked it up and it works with no problems. I guess that's what you want out of a cable modem. We stream everything and often have 4 or 5 things going at the same time and never have any issues. I have this paired with the Google mesh network and it all works great.

Not a techie or anything but this product seemed like a good buy in terms of performance and price. Working good so far.

Good router. No wi-fi. My previous Arris modem died. Needed to replace it. Asked bestbuy kid for a suggestion of a modem with the basics... just needed WiFi and streaming. He suggested this. Got home, hooked it up... no WiFi. Thankfully, I had a Velop cube that works, and use that for wi-fi. Decided to keep this because I really like the small size of the modem. It easily stores out of the way.

Great modem - works with Optimum. Easy to set up - just call your cable I recommend that you purchase your own modem and return the one that your cable company is leasing to you. This one pays for itself in less than one year.
