    I replaced my old one (SB6141) with this modem model connecting to my Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station. I have no regrets. I should have bought it sooner. It has increased my speeds significantly (58% improvement - Download speed) on my TWC Internet plan. This modem is hotter and smaller than the SB6141. However, it is not a problem for me.

    Purchased the ARRIS - SURFboard 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem to avoid paying the rental fees. This modem was recommended by the installer and is Comcast Xfinity compatible. I've had no issues with this modem and download speeds are great. This modem does not have a built in router and is not voice compatible.

    I finally decided to quit paying Comcast for the POS gateway they use. Best speed I ever measured was 70 Mbps and I needed an extender to cover the whole house with wifi. This modem paired with a Netgear AC2300 router and I get 247 Mbps with both Ethernet and wifi connected devices

    My last cable modem died after about 3 years of service, so I went out and got this one ( I already have a WiFi router in the house so I don’t need a combo unit with WiFi). This modem Speed tests about 30 percent faster than my old one and they were both Docsys 3.0. Well worth the investment to avoid cable company rental fees
