We were at best buy to look at options for cutting cable and the sales guy said he would save us more money with this because we wouldn't have to rent it from xfinity. It works well and was somewhat easy to set up

It turns out my internet had been upgraded over the years, but my modem had lagged behind. Got this and got an immediate 25% speed increase. There are some more powerful ones, but this is plenty of power for most people.

Easy to install and it is very fast. The signal is strong and covers my house easily

The ARRIS replaced my cable modem that failed intermittingly and required rebooting constantly. Later, I changed my router and mesh extended. Now my home network for internet access is working perfectly.

This modem has known firmware issues with latency and packet loss. My ISP (W.O.W) has released a new firmware version that has mostly resolved the issues, at least for my uses. I get a consistent 550mbps down and 50mbps up and it's been stable for over a month without needing to be restarted. An affordable solution for those seeking 500+Mbps speeds until Docsis 3.1 hardware is available to consumers.

Setup is a breeze. I bought this modem to replace a dead Netgear router that was provided by TWC. It actualy takes longer to talk to someone at TWC by phone to activate the modem by providing them the Mac ID on the back of the modem than to set it up to connect it to my Eero routers. Bottom line, this modem works as a charm and it can support up to 1 gig per second download speed.

Works alot better and faster then the rental we got from spectrum. Very happy so far.

One of the fastest modems on the market. Works great and improved my internet, but if you don't require speeds good enough for gaming, I would suggest a cheaper version of Arris. I didn't really need one this fast but it was on sale for just a little more then the next one down.

If my ISP would allow this modem, I would be a happy camper. But this modem did what it was supposed to do. It delivered faster internet speeds that crossed the 200Mbps mark. This modem does not, however, support some ISP gigabit service, including WOW!. Check your ISP before purchasing.

Great item to own. Dont have to worry about shotty ISP owned equipment.

Just what I needed to avoid paying for using a providers equipment and paying their monthly rental fee. I got my own this time and loving a low monthly high speed internet bill to support my new love for a smart home!

We love our new Arris 6190 cable modem. We are getting super fast speeds both up and down.

This is so much faster than the Comc—- router that the company offered. One time fee instead of a monthly payment. Saved me a lot of money over the years. It will be obsolete before it wears out.

Worked great to replace a Comcast modem that was taken out by lightning.

Getting ready to upgrade to the 3.1, but this has been a great modem. We will be giving my mom this modem and our Linksys router so that she can switch internet provider and not have a monthly rental fee from equipment.

Replaces an older model that was no longer compatible with my faster internet speed, although it still worked, this one works fine and is very easy to set up. The store employee helped me with my purchase.

I was able to get this modem on sale for around $90 dollars and that is the sweet spot I needed to buy to get rid of the Cable Provider's Modem. This modem will be good for 3 or more years and will be well worth it compared to the $7 or more dollars the providers charge you.
