This was very easy to install and quadrupled my previous speeds. I have over 10 devices attached and no lagging. Nice!

Went from an older Motorola surfboard to this modem after a friend told me how much faster it made his internet. My router is the nighthawk ac1900. Well, it more than tripled my download speeds to 192mbps. Nothing else was changed just this modem. Btw my Comcast says I get speeds up to 150mbps. Well I haven't seen speeds that low since purchasing it. Before the change I was lucky to hit 60mbps. If you have multiple people or devices on your network, I highly recommend this modem.

I bought this Arris SURFboard cable modem to replace a previous Arris modem to support the faster 300mbps Internet download speed from my cable provider. I was looking at others, but have been pleased with Arris in the past with no issues, and this one has been great thus far. And with 1.5gbps max download capable, this will offer me plenty of years of service, and without having to pay expensive rental fees!

I had the older ARRIS SURFboard 6141 for 5+ years. It worked reliably. With everyone working from home I had to increase my internet speeds to more than 300Mbps. Based on my past experience with ARRIS cable modem I went with this 6190 model. It has worked reliably and has consistently given me close to the maximum speeds I chose with my ISP, Comcast. Highly recommend it.

Great features and good price at my local Best Buy. More capacity than I need right now, but when I decide to upgrade my throughput speeds again, this one will handle those too. Installing and connecting the modem were a breeze. The most time spent was coordinating on the phone and online with the tech support for the cable box setup. This was one piece of a 4 part upgrade that happened all at once. At the end of the 2 hours, everything worked perfectly.

Used this router for a very long time at my house and still worked well last time i had it plugged in, just upgraded to take advantage of some features of new routers

Works exactly as advertised: 250+ Mbps direct download speed (Comcast/Xfinity Blast! plan on MA North Shore limits upload speed to 12 Mbps). WiFi router 802.11b/g/n provides 60+ Mbps download, 12 Mbps upload. Very simple, plug and play, BUT I had to "make the call" to Comcast customer service to register the MAC address. The $100-ish price tag pays for itself in less than 12 months compared to the $9.99 monthly rental fee for a cable modem from Comcast.

In my area we are starting to exceed 100MBps download speeds. While my old modem still worked. These newer models support more download/upload channels. Don't bottleneck your broadband speeds by using an old modem, especially if you're paying for higher speeds. This modem performs well I've plugged it in and pretty much forgot about it. It's been about 6 weeks and not a single restart has been necessary.

My father never updated his router when we first installed Roadrunner about 10+ years ago. He wasn't getting the speeds he was paying for and I told him his modem was bottle necking his speed. This was more than enough for the 60 MB/s he was paying for but I wanted to have absolutely nothing interfering with his internet. Setup requires you to call your internet provider, but setup was about 5 minutes. I love the new speed and ease of setup.

Purchased this modem after our previous one had died. It has done exactly what it expected and more. We are pulling the exact speed we pay for at anytime of day. It was easy to install because there they don’t put excessive ports on the modem and the display up front is super easy to see and understand.

i purchased this modem so i could receive the 300mbps speed from TWC after installing this my wired speed to my desktop is 349mbps wireless is 186mbps so it was a great purchase and well worth the price. the TWC provided modem will not produce speeds like this. very easy setup . just plug it in wait for all the lights to go solid and call TWC to have them activate it. done!!! * however* you will need a pretty good router to see speeds this high with this modem

Hello readers I purchased this Arris modem so I could stop the monthly Fee from my Comcast provider. I'm a Big Fan of Comcast however I wanted to lower the cost of doing business with them and paying the upfront cost of the Arris 3.0 modem would do this in time and yes it is superior to the combination Modem/ Router I had from Comcast at a $10.00 monthly Fee. My Tech savaay Son liked it a lot and said Dad that's So awesome I think I'll move back Home, I said no no I'll buy you one for Christmas. (LOL) I really like the new Arris modem and in time it will pay for itself and start putting money in my pocket. I waited for two months to write this review to see if it gave me any issues but it is working excellent. Thank you for Reading Reviews help consumers

When I was looking for a cable modem to use instead of leasing my Spectrum modem, this modem was the best value while meeting my minimum requirements of 300Mbps and 16x4 channel bonding. It was a great deal, and after I found it on sale and used Reward points, it was almost the price of its lesser competitors. It has far exceeded with its speed, twice as many channels and is 1/4 the size of Spectrum's modem so it's easier to hide. VERY HAPPY

I read a bunch of reviews on a lot of different modems. While this wasn't showing up specifically in Best Buy search as Comcast compatible, further web research and then speaking with a rep at Best Buy confirmed it would work. Works great! Easy setup! The time consuming part of setup was dealing with Comcast to have them provision the new modem, but worth it to save the $10 per month rental fee. This will pay for itself in less than a year!
