Purchased this ARRIS - SURFboard modem to replace an older model that Comcast would not support any longer. Set up instructions were very good but I still had to contact Comcast to complete the connection. Only thing this needs is ability to act as a phone modem for VOIP connection from Comcast.

Works great for Xfinity cable modem replacement for 200MBPS service. Would buy it again pays for itself in 3 months.

I purchased this to go along with my Google wifi access points. It has worked well with them. No problems. Set it up once and have never fooled with it since: it been about 9 months.

The Arris SURFboard series of modems has been bulletproof for me. Only changed it out because a power surge that broke it.

The speed and streamline is great. Since I switch to this modem all buffering has gone away. I would recommend this Arris surfboard to anyone looking to give timewarner back there original equipment.

Ours died so we bought a new one, bigger and 4 times what we had. So far its doing great !

I bought this modem as a replacement for my old modem. It does not run any faster, but I only have basic internet service. I was told it will handle every service Cox offers in my area, so should be upgrade proof for a few years.

I recently upgraded my Comcast speed from 25 mpbs to 150mpbs, that's why I need to buy a new modem. It's compatible with the speed, just once a while the signal drops, and I need to reconnect it to the router, but I don't know whether the problem with Comcast of the modem. Comcast couldn't give me a solution.

My kids and I are always on our gadgets or playing games online. The Arris is a very big help. Everyone is always on top of the internet speed at any spot in the house. I’m glad I choose the Arris Surfboard!

Upgraded to this model after using both the 6141 and 6183 models previously. Never had any issues with them and so far this has been solid on Suddenlink Gigabit service.

This 32 channel modem was surely an upgrade to the supplied modem from our cable provider. We’ve had absolutely no connectivity issues since we’ve made the swap. Very satisfied!

Has worked well so far, no issues with install and performance has been great. Troubleshooting has been straightforward too. Overall pretty happy with this modem.

I needed a new modem to pair with our recently replaced router and this one was seamless to get up and going. Easy setup and connect with Comcast Internet.

I replaced a Netgear CM400 which kept requiring a restart. Every time that happened, several of my smart devices would stop working until I restarted the unit -- not very cool when you're out of town. I've been using this unit for several weeks at the recommendation of a Best Buy person and it's been very good so far.

Easy to set up and use. Fast connection to the internet.

So so much better than the cable company's modem. Performed a speed test after setting it up, and we were actually getting the speeds we were supposed to be getting!

This modem never disappoints! Been running SURFboard modems for years. Only bought this new one because I lost the last one. Found the original and it still works great!

Needed more bandwidth for my home network. I had the one with just 16 channels, I picked this up and instantly got faster downloads... Not the advertised 1ghz but close enough.
