My connection has been very fast with this modem! It was really easy to setup, all I had to do was call my cable company and give them the serial # to activate the modem. I also upgraded my downloads per seconds with them to the highest now that I have a modem that can handle that speed, so make sure you do that. All together this was a great purchase!

My old modem was working when my router died. Since my modem was several years old, I decided to replace it too. This unit was recommended by a store employee to fit my needs and it certainly has so far. We livestream tv with usually 2 on but have 5. 2 iPhones, 3 iPads, multiple laptops too. Easy to install and works great!

Purchased this product to get out of the rental world with Cox. I figured it would pay for itself within like 10 months. Well was I surprised, I didn't ever expect the increase in speed!! All modems are not alike! This increased our speed 25%! Easy to install and use... You have to call Cox to set up. But it is a wonderful product!

My modem died for whatever reason. Guess what?! I bought the same make / model modem. This cable modem has excellent performance. It's priced right. Only reason whey I'm giving it a 4 star is because the other one, same brand, make and model, died within 2 years. Maybe I bought a dud, I dont know... But, if you're in the market for new modem, this cable modem delivers.

It was one of the better overall priced modems for its ability. Still faster than any new devices so I don't have to worry about it being underpowered for a long time. It is the fastest reasonably priced modem available. There are a few that are faster but they are 4 times the price. Good product at a great price w Best Buy's awesome geek squad help!

My older modem went out without warning, so i checked out BestBuy's options and was thinking that i needed to buy an expensive newer modem because if it costs more its better right? Well my advice is if you have a better than average router like i do then you don't need to spend a lot on your modem. I have a smaller home so i picked up this budget friendly modem that is still good on it's own. This modem paired with a better than average router and you are ready to go, set up was super easy and i was done in less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Haven't come across any issues so far and i doubt i will anytime soon.

I purchased this item since we decided to “cut the cord” with cable TV and used this with our new internet provider instead of renting their router. This modem is extremely easy to set up, comes with everything you need and looks good at the same time! Highly recommend if you have internet speeds greater than 100mbps download.

We have 4 Roku streaming sticks, 2 Xboxes, 3 Computers, and 1 iPad connected to our home network thru a Netgear Nighthawk AC3200 router. No skips, lags, or slow downloads on any device even if all 5 of us in the family are on line at the same time. We cut the cord with our cable provideder and never missed it. This modem delivers all the speed we need and then some.

I've actually owned two of this model modem. I had the first for probably 7 years before I needed to replace it in March of 2022. I constantly get reliable quality and speed from Spectrum using this modem.

It's a cable modem, that's compatible with Xfinity. This is the one you want. I purchased this to replace a seven year old unit from the same manufacturer that bit the dust. It pays for itself within a year, and if this one lasts as long as the last, it will save me $600 over its life.

Spent about $160 total after taxes. Had to buy a cable modem after my previous one died after 4 years (Zoom 5341). This Arris one was on Cox's approved DOCSIS 3.0 cable modems and seemed to be priced between the lower end models and the higher end models (which doubled as Wi-Fi routers and I already had a router so I didn't consider them). Issues I had setting up: Only had a quick start instruction manual. Which is fine, but they don't mention white lights (which is the standard for the power and online LED's). They start off/flash as green. This also confused the Cox rep I called when registering the Serial # and Mac ID with Cox. Online, they do not have the full user manual on their own Arris website. I Googled it elsewhere to save as reference. Also, on the Arris website, I could not register the product. I called their customer support and the Arris rep acknowledged the SB6190 models were having product registration issues. So just about a day in and speeds look good (133 Mb/s-11-18 ping on Cox Premier).

My experience with Arris modems have been positive. I bought this unit with an NETGEAR - AC1750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Routerfor use for Internet speeds of at least 400 Mbps. So far, my experience with this modem, as expected, has been positive. It also works flawlessly with the Netgear router. I would definitely recommend this product.

Had to make a change for our internet modem. Talked with a Best Buy specialist and gave recommendations on this particular one. Thankful to have someone help us. Great product too! Easy to install and setup with our purchase of Eero wireless routers too. Love our Best Buy!

I've had many Cable company modems, but recently I was having issues with several TWC modems. I finally decided to buy one, so searched many brands & models. This modem kept surfacing on many sites as a favorite, so I bought one. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS MODEM!! Easy to set up, fast and reliable. My only regret is not buying one of these years ago....

My ISP changed their protocols so I needed a new cable modem. This Arris was priced right and it looked like it would do the job so I got it. Naturally, little to no documentation comes with electronic gear these days so I had to call Arris for support. There I was told that I needed to call Xfinity to get me online but that he (the Arris tech) would stay online with me until Xfinity got the job done. And, it's a good thing he did because the Xfinity rep. was not the sharpest knife in the drawer and needed his help! Thank you Arris, for the great, old-fashion customer service. After 3 1/2 weeks of use, I have had zero problems.

If your looking to replace a modem (like I was for my Xfinity internet) this is thing is perfect. The speeds were more stable and it was much faster all around. The set up was straight forward and easy to understand and it updated it's own firmware right away. If your thinking about getting this modem for any reason, just do it. You won't regret it.

I got this cable modem in order to avoid the monthly rent paid to Comcast. This modem is fully compatible with Comcast as far as I can tell. Easy to set up. No tech call was needed. It has been serving us well for 1.5 years.
