It performed well, more than enough for everyday simple internet use.

Works great with Suddenlink cable. Easy set up and operability. Multiple bonded connections certainly keeps data flow up and down consistent. Highly recommend. Better that ISP provided Arris device and eliminated monthly rental. Bought on sale so 2 year payback versus rental with improved performance and stability is great value.

This was not the modem I intended to purchase but after speaking with the department manager, I see why he gave his recommendation. I'm able to run 22 devices simultaneously without any lag in speed. Unless you're paying for gigabyte service, this is the modem for you!

I replace my cable modems every 4 to 5 years. I purchased arris surfboard 3.0 cable modem for 3 reasons. First, to eliminate monthly rental fees . It can add up to significant fees over 4 to 5 years. Second, to increase the speed to 32x8 channels. My previous modem had 16x8 channels and did not provide the speed of up to 400 Mbps. I tested the speed After changing the cable modem to arris surfboard, model SB6190, my internet speed has increased. Streaming has also improved. Third, reviews for surfboard were great. Infact, arris is the leader in the cable modem market. Fourth, I purchase most of my digital products at Best Buy because of the convenience and the service they provide. Pricing for electronic products are almost the same whether you buy from a brick & mortar store or online. Best Buy also matches pricing if you find it cheaper elsewhere.

This is a fast modem that is compatible with most providers. It is DOCSIS 3.0 which most providers support. There are faster, more expensive modems that are DOCSIS 3.1, but very few providers support them. Upgrading the modem is a simple as calling your provider and giving them the MAC ID.

Definitely an upgrade from my old 10/100 modem by Netgear. Was priced right and extremely fast. So far it has been reliable. Currently running 406 on speed ( for what I pay for ). Long term, I hope it will make me as happy as my older and obsolete Netgear.

Just replaced one that was 15 years old, internet seemed to be buffering all the time, easy to set up and works great.

My internet provider said to get a faster modem to get the most out of my service. The associate at Best Buy was very helpful in reguards to answering any questions I had. The new modem made a world of difference in my speed and we haven’t had any connection issues. I bought the service plan because it so reasonably priced.

My equipment was aging (router was 5 yrs old / cable modem, etc.) so it was time to upgrade to something better/faster. I have been pleased with this cable modem so far - it is compact and BRIGHT (lights) but hidden behind other equipment it's not intrusive. My high-speed Comcast connection now services my devices with more efficiency.

The ARRIS SURFboard SB6190 installed easily replacing my older Cable Modem and provided me with the increased internet speeds I was looking for.

Once again I finally get to say take that Comcast $10 a month to rent an awful modem from them. This modem has increased my speed and reliability I stream much faster through the internet. great because it's already next-generation technology so when they improve on the internet speeds I'm ready for it with this device highly recommend

This is a great modem for the money. After connecting it to the internet cable, I called Fidelity and within 30 minutes they had it connected. I use it in conjunction with a Netgear Nighthawk X6 router. We have 9 devices connected to it and no problems. I have had it for 1 month and haven't had to reboot any.

With COVID - the demands on my home internet skyrocketed. The 7 year cable modem hit the limits and was time for the big upgrade. Didnt think I needed to get a DOCSIS 3.1 for the added $100 - so went this this as it was an upgrade to what I had (ARRIS). Works great

I had been using a cable modem I purchased from the cable company for over 5 years. I wanted to upgrade all my equipment so that I could start receiving 1Gbps internet download speed. This cable modem was purchased as well as a new wi-fi router (from Best Buy of course). I am very pleased with the results.
