This is one of the better modems that I have come across. I had a modem router combo before and always had problems with my connection. I opted to separate the two and try out this modem. I cannot be more pleased with the results and reliability. This Arris modem really delivers for my set up and would recommend it as a must buy.

Bought this for a client whose Spectrum-supplied modem/router was misbehaving; plugged it into an eero 3-pack and it works beautifully all over the house. I've had this same model in my own home for over five years; it's not DOCSIS 3.1* but it's very reliable and delivers the highest speed our cable company can supply. As a side benefit, this modem will pay for itself in about 6 months' worth of rental fees. *(The newer DOCSIS 3.1 standard is potentially much faster than 3.0, but only if your local cable company is up to it. My client's old modem was 3.1, but since service in our area isn't exactly spectacular, this modem delivers equal or better speeds. Your local conditions may vary.)

My speed seems to have tripled since I purchased this modem. And I haven't even purchased a new router yet! Thank you for an excellent quality product. I would recommend this. It's perfect for me working from home. Very efficient and simple to set up.

Had an older version of this modem, this one is faster and has less lag-time. Great value and is much cheaper in the long run vs. renting from ISP.

Literally couldn't ask much more from an affordable little modem. Been using for 3+ years never had a single issue

This is so easy to setup and works great. I was using an Arris that was from my internet company but it was outdated. I decided to stay with Arris because I never really had any problems with the old one so I figured it would be best to stick with a product that I know works.

Buy this surfboard and save atleast 15$/mo plus taxes from your internet service provider. Most companies will charge you to rent their equipment but this unit is fast, reliable and a great value. You'll recoup your investment in the first few months!

This is a great modem! Easy setup and fast speeds with a capable cable plan. Only wish there was a way to schedule the indicator lights, off is great at night but troubleshooting becomes a hassle if something goes wrong.

Great replacement of my Xfinity modem with faster results. Happy I dont have to play a monthly anymore and get the bonus of a better unit. Set-up was easy as I just swapped connections over. Hardest part was dealing with Xfinity on the phone call to add it.

I am quite technologically stunted and this modem from day one was simple to install and set up. I purchased this with the router and no monthly service cost to rent any longer. No brainer. Has not gone offline or had to be reset like my past rented units and I've had it running for a good while now.

Purchased this to upgrade from an SB6141. The unit runs warm but not hot and is reliable. Easy setup with my ISP. No Activity indicator light which is what I wanted. Supports both IPv4 and IPv6 as does the SB6141. No complaints with this unit over the past month.

I bought this modem with the recommendation of an employee at my local Best Buy. It was easy to set up (okay, I had some problems with Comcast, but that was their fault for not activating it properly, nothing to do with modem) and has worked without problems or speed reductions since it was installed.

This modem handles over 300Mbps easily. Has not had a dropped signal since purchase over 3 months. Easy to install and integrate to ISP and Wi-Fi network

Needed a new cable modem to connect yo new eero wifi home network. Very easy to install and configure. Most difficult part was waiting on hold for internet provider. Love small size. Barely visible. Big improvement in performance and appearance.

I bought it cause it was compatible with spectrum but the fact it has 32 channels makes it great cause it can support up to 300mbs in case you want to upgrade your plan with spectrum then you won’t have to buy another modem. It’s really fast and provides robust signal. Easy to install

This is fast and compact modem. Works great with comcast. Just call them and give the info and you will up and running at full speed. I have the 100 Mb download plan and I am seeing 120Mb. It is rated for 1.4Gb download speed. The lights on the front are bright so place it where this will not be an issue.

This is a great modem, reasonably priced, and easy to understand. A lot of modems have extra lights than you don't need. This has 4 lights, power, download, upload, and internet. You can tell just by a glance which isn't working. I currently don't need a 1G modem, but this will be the one I use when that time comes.

Works as expected. Affordable and well-built, came with an Ethernet cable. I don't like having to download an app to set it up but that's the only real gripe I have.

The modem looks great and is easy to setup. Very compact. The only problem is that although Optimum uses an Arris modem the model number must be compatible with Optimum. I was very disappointed when I was told that this model number of Arris is unable to be used with Optimum. It needs to be Arris model TM1602. I did purchase the correct model and it doesn't look as good as this one.
