We were having huge droppi g issues with our Suddenlink high speed modem...they could not fix it...I boight this and ever since ...not one drop out!! Works perfectly and this is way less money!!!

There isn't much to say about cable modems these days. Arris branding is now on the Surfboard modems that used to carry Motorola's name. The only differences I can see from my old Moto version are the Arris is white and not black, it is shorter and wider than the Moto and has dropped the blinking "data" indicator, carrying only 4 lights rather than five. I can remember when setting up an internet connection in my home was more work than this, but today you plug in the coax cable, plug in your router if you have one, plug in the power and wait for the modem to go through its initial process. I had to call my internet provider with the MAC address from the sticker on the bottom of the modem, and I was good to go. No issues. No fuss. No muss. If this model works as long as my Moto version did, I'll be really happy.

I bought this to replace my netgear one that took a hit with a power surge (yes, even on a power strip). Read all the info on the box and gave it a try. Setup was simple and quick. Modem has been working flawlessly. There is probably better out there for a higher price, but this on suits me just fine.

I bought this alone with the Linkeyes mesh system . I finally have much faster and broader WiFi . I have a small house but a 7600 sq ft yard, the WiFi after buying the mesh system as well goes all the way to the back yard . Two minutes to get working . Easy !

It's a gigabit modem and it will be some time until I can either afford the gigabit connection or the prices come down. However, this modem is capable of a gigabit connection and has been stable since day 1. Speed tests confirm that I'm getting download/upload speeds that I'm contracted for and some!!

For anyone not getting paid to game or host, in the 50Mbps-100Mbps bandwidth range, the Surfboard is amazing. Streaming, MMO gaming, and casual surfing/email can all be done simultaneously with zero-minimal lag. I mix wired and wireless depending on demand and this modem has yet to frustrate me.

I bought this modem to replace the modem-router that I had since I upgraded to a new router. This modem has performed flawlessly for my internet. I was having issues watching streaming media which is our primary source of television. After installing this modem, I haven't experienced any drops in internet.

Modem was pretty easy to set up. Took call to the helpline to synch to the Suddenlink system, but they were great. Good speed to connect to my mesh wifi and allows me to get rid of all of my cable equipment (using Roku). No problems at all.

I purchased this modem to have to stop paying Optimum $10 month to rent their modem. I have Optimum 400 speed no phone. Called Optimum to setup and works great. Modem is very small and compact compared to the Optimum modems they use.

I subscribe to Xfinity Blast PRO internet (250Mbps) but wanted something capable of gigabit if and when it was offered in my area and felt 250Mbps wasn't enough. I've had zero issues with the device and worked immediately with Xfinity. Very fast, stable, and great. Would recommend!

So glad I purchased this and ditched the modem that Cox gave me. Payed itself off in less than 6 months. Simple to use and diagnose. Gives me better throughput than what I had before. Couple with a Nest Wi-Fi mesh system.

Needed to replace my cable modem and wanted something that would be compliant with my provider as well as being able to handle high download speeds. This modem does the job and was very easy to install; don't forget to let your provider know that you installed your own modem! They need to document on their end!

Works fine. Easy to setup. Saving money by buying and not renting from cable company. Make sure modem is compatible and can handle the speed you need. This works fine for my 600 mbps line.

I bought this modem to not have to pay cable for theirs monthly. I figured it would pay for itself in a few months. So far, this modem was very easy to set up, and allows for very fast speeds. I subscribe to 75 Mbps for my internet, and easily hit 55-60 Mbps all the time wirelessly. Have no complaints.

This is a good, solid cable modem. Setup and use is easy. One call to my cable company was all it took. It was the best option for the fastest downloads from my ISP. I only have 200 Mbps download on my subscription but good to know it is capable of much more when I decide to up my level of service.

Great value and was able to pick up where my 250 mb limit device could not. Which was rated at 384 mb but I wasnt getting it. Price is right and has been very stable. When I compared to other options this one was by far the best price point.

Replaced an Arris CM820A that I bought in 2014 and finally wore out today. Noticed download speeds on SpeedTest getting slower every few days and rebooting the CM820A would "fix it" back to ~250 Mbps for a while. Even after resetting today it wouldn't get past 8 Mbps. This is on Spectrum's approved list up to 500 Mbps (I'm on the 300 Mbps plan). Getting it elsewhere was $9 less but I had to wait a day for shipping. Local BB store had it in stock and within the hour I was not only up and running but at over 350 Mbps! Well worth the extra few bucks of saving me time and hassle.

This cable modem delivers good speed and it's easy to set up. The only minor comment are the bright blue lights...they're very bright and act as a night light. I have Time Warner Cable with a 100 Mbps plan, so this modem is overkill...but I've noticed that overkill is needed just to get their promised speed.

Fast modem, easy setup, Surfing & Streaming is a dream :) cause its so fast!

Compact and easy to set up. I'm getting 600 mbps out of it.
