I had to buy a new modem after my old one got fried by lightning. But this new modem is way better than the old one; it makes my internet faster. This was recommended by the rep and he said I don't need 3.1 Docsis modem and this was good for my needs. It was also easy to setup.

If you have Charter Cable as I do, and you have been using their "free" modem...it is time to wake up and smell the Gigabits! This modem is so stinking fast, it will AMAZE you! And the problem that we once had of too many devices causing very slow connections has now completely disappeared!

Cable company recommended upgrade to modem, and Best Buy agent recommended this one (after inquiring how I use internet). It has allowed me to use the speed offered in TV program to the fullest, and has been more reliable than old modem. Good recommendation, good purchase, quite satisfied.

I bought this primarily in order to save money by not leasing (monthly) from my ISP, easily connected to existing router and set up. Great for when I want to upgrade internet speeds. The only thing to watch out for is rodents chewing through cabling causing internet issues.

Works fine with xfinity. No problem installing/activating. Only complaint (not worth lower ratings) is the front LEDs are extremely bright. They illuminate a dark room. Annoying when watching a movie but nothing some tape can’t fix.

The modem was to replace the big rental from Xfinity. Very slim design, fast speeds and easy setup makes this modem a great choice. Spent a little time getting it authorized but I was up and running in no time. Using this with the Norton Core WiFi modem and it works great.

The price on this is really good. If you can afford DOCCIS 3.1 for double the price, you should get it, but if you have a half Gig plan or 1 GIg plan, this modem should support speeds of about 750-800 gbs which is what I’ve been getting

Bought this to replace our modem after a lightning strike took out the old Arris SB6121. Seems Faster that the older Arris. Of course it should be based on the side by side comparisons. Works great and easy to set-up. I shopped at Best Buy, Office Depot, Sam's & Costco. Bestbuuy had the best deal.

Had to update my modem due to slowness & dropping out issues. This modem was a great replacement, no longer having issues with dropping out or slowness. Internet light on modem stays on all the time & never blinks in & out like my old one. Would recommend to anyone who's looking a good reliable modem.

I replaced my 5.5 year old SURFboard because I upgraded my internet speed. My old one was not able to handle my new 400 Mbps. This cable modem is more than capable of attaining that speed. Setup was very easy.

Great cable modem. The Cox cable guy hooked it up when installing the fiber optic converter outside the house, and he said this was a great modem - fast and no problems typically during lifetime. Consistently getting above 300 MB/s download speed (with 300 MB/s service).

Love the speed and connection we get with this modem. We had to call our internet provider to make the switch from the old one. I especially love the smaller size. Doesn't take up near the room the old ones did. And I like the white color and the weight is much lighter.

This modem works great and is much faster than the previous 2.0 modem I had. It was an easy set up as all you need to do is plug it in and then contact your cable provider to get it activated on their system. I would recommend if you are streaming TV or have a lot of wireless devices in your home.

This router is a very fast and reliable component to my home network. Just connect your cable, plug it in, connect your LAN cable, then call your Internet Service Provider. Your system will be up and running in five to ten minutes. This is a very fast, easy and pain free install.

This device gives you great speed and removes this whole Wireless overhead from the cable company provided. Setup was easy. Just called Comcast and asked for “Modem Activation” and “Re-provision” to get the full speed. Make sure to have the device MAC address which is on the box.

Purchased this unit as it fit my budget for a new modem and had good reviews. Installed on Spectrum and works perfect. Improved my Internet speed substantially from what spectrums modem was giving me.. Great product to date and a reasonable price.

Purchased this modem to replace the modem i pay for with OPTIMUM NJ. When you install this modem you just plug in & let it sync. Then plug a computer directly to modem. It well take you a OPTIMUM web page and call the # listed there. Modem was provisioned in 10 minutes. Speed went from 257/25 to 315/35 on average. One problem I did have after adding modem is my router NETGEAR XR500 started dropping internet. i upgraded to latest firmware then did a factory reset in that order (weird) but now no issues at all and loving my connection better than ever!
