I upgraded from an older SURFboard modem that I have had for years (and still works great, just doesn't support as high of speeds). As expected, this is stable with great speeds. I expect to get many years from this modem as well.

It's pretty fast. It doesn't get as hot compared to the 8200. I have not had any dropped connections or any issues with it. Was able to get it at a low price so it was pretty worth it.

We purchased this Cable Modem to replace the cable provider's modem that went out 2 months ago. Easy to set up very quick response to our Google Nest Routers.

Bought this as a replacement for a similar modem died (lightning strike?). Was simple to install and worked pretty much right out of the box. Good, stable performance running at rated speeds. Nothing fancy and still requires external WAP, but pretty much what I wanted for the price.

Have owned this device for nearly 3 weeks now, and it's performed flawlessly. In conjunction with Comcast service for 100 Mbps broadband internet & TV, it fulfills all the claims on speed & reliability. Very happy with this purchase.

Speeds are strong. Haven't had any crashes. Everything performs as advertised. Something i didn't know: I did have to call my cable provider to give them info off the modem for them to authorize use.

Purchasing a good modem is a great investment. You will save money by avoiding the extra monthly fee from your internet service provider and increase the performance of your connectivity. This modem is great and reasonably priced.

EXCELLENT Modem for speeds up to 800MB/Download max, and Docsis 3.0 specs. It "RATES" for speed up tp 1GB Download, but I don't believe it. If you need that, upgrade to the one I mention in the next paragraph. If you want one with 1GB/download Fiber or above, or are just looking to upgrade an old one that you are using on your cable system(Spectrum/Comcast approved by the way) I would get the Arris Surfboard S33 since that is the latest one with speeds up to 1.2GB download, plus Docsis 3.1 too boot But this one will work EASILY for most people, in most situations, at a price point which is very good.

If your ISP, Cable company supports this is the best modem you can buy. 300MBps with Cox and will have no problem when 600MBps will be available. The performance depends a lot on your ISP but at least the modem is not the limiting factor.

My old router was not compatible with Xfinity any more and I have to change it for another one. Sb6190 is the best bet which is faster and reliable at one hand and also not expensive compare to other routers available.

This SURFboard performs at high speed out of the box. I have Xfinity for internet, & once Comcast was notified of the model #, it was plug-n-play. I highly recommend this product.

I love this modem and has worked fast and flawlessly for a few months now. Lately, I have been having to reboot this modem (4 times in 3 weeks). Not sure what caused it as of yet. I'm thinking it disconnected due to heat, this thing gets a bit hot. Will try and figure out if this is the problem or if the problem is with my ISP/Cable company.

Fast cable modem at a good price mark. It was also very easy to set up. Tech support was readily available and knew exactly what they were doing. We get our full internet speed with this modem. Definitely worth it.

I needed to update my modem to 802ac standard and be compatible with my Spectrum Cable TV system. This unit was easy to install, with only a phone call to my Cable TV provider to provide them the unit serial number.

This is the second location I’ve used the Arris surfboard 32 modem. Works perfectly, it’s easy to install, and the first one I purchased is still running strong after three years.

Works great with my Xfinity Performance Plus internet service. Very easy to set up; just disconnected old modem, plugged this one in, and called Xfinity to switch my account over.

My Comcast ask for replace my old modem to this new version . Like always Motorola work like at charm and setup was no time. Problem was make Comcast tech make work on there network..Patient is need with Support...

I am pretty technical but not at the level to get all detailed on speeds and feeds here, but I can say that you do need to upgrade your modem to make use of the increasing ISP speeds and the many devices in your home. I was using an old modem and didn't realize I capped the maximum download speeds on it compared to what I was paying for to my ISP. I upgraded and did a speed test and actually got my advertised download speeds - which is relative to your saturation on shared broadband connection if you use a cable internet service provider, however. So just by upgrading your modem doesn't mean you are going to get faster speeds. It's all relative. But if you are using a an old modem that can only download at 150Mb/s and your provider can do 200Mb/s, then you're leaving some bandwidth on the table.
