The Arris Surfboard is the best cable modem thanks to its solid performance that will satisfy most home internet customers. It's very reliable, easy to setup.

I had this modem up and running in minutes. It works well with my Cableone Internet package and a modem like this can save you a ton of money over renting or leasing a cable model from your Internet service provider. My whole house has a nice wifi field at this point and every device in the house seems to be able to get a strong signal. I'm very happy with the ARRIS SURFboard. If you are a gamer and you believe your life depends on the fastest Internet connection possible, use an Ethernet cable. If you are a normal person who likes to steam music and movies, send and receive email, upload and download files for sharing, this model will likely work very well for you.

Very fast cable modem, stable and easy to install. The performance is very good and takes advantage of all the available bandwidth to manage the 10 devices that we currently have at home. Recommend

I purchased this modem because it had gigabit speed for a fantastic price. Setup was simple and straightforward. It is compatible with most if not all cable companies. I have XFINITY and it works great. No problems.

I’ve had the modem for over a month now. With the modem, I’ve constantly received the advertised internet speeds. The modem has not overheated or locked up during heavy use. This is a great modem for the money.

This new Arris Surfboard modem works great and as-advertisted. I had a Motorola Surfboard modem prior to this one, and it was nearing 10 years of age. I went ahead and upgraded, and I get 235mbps (my ISP service is rated at 200mbps). My last modem was working well, but sometimes dipped down to 9mbps (I don't know if modems can 'slow down', but I am certainly getting more consistent DL speeds with this new modem). Bottom line is that these Surfboards last a long time and give me the same or greater throughput than stated by my ISP. I would buy again.

You wouldn't think that something so simple could speed your home connection up. This Surfboard has made a huge difference in my home. I can't believe I went years with a slow comcast modem.

I bought a Motorola off the internet but my connection still dropped like it did with the Suddenlink issued modem I got rid of to stop paying rent on, the technician found that the line was good so it could be the modem. I went to BestBuy and got this modem on sale, took it home and plugged it in then called Suddenlink to get it going. I never touched it more than once and have not dropped the line one time, that was over a month ago.

This cable modem was the easiest thing in the world to start using. The review title says it all. Called my ISP and registered the Mac ID and 20 minutes later I was surfing three times faster. Highly recommend it.

Bought this modem so I would not have to rent one from my internet provider. It was really easy to set up. The modem is faster then what I could have rented. Very happy with the purchase.

Not overly expensive and performs the functionality that a cable modem should. It's compatible with the latest specifications from Xfinity. It hasn't required a reboot since it's been activated.

This was an Great buy with being reasonably priced. It works well with Xfinity service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and definitely buy again.

We purchased this modem in order to get out from under Xfinity's generic products. What a difference! Very pleased with increase in speed and continuity. We've not had any issues since this purchase.

We had an older version of this modem and it got "blown out" during a bad storm. We must have had some type of lighting strike and even though it was in a surge protector, the actual ethernet port got fried so it no longer worked (even though it was powering up and such). We quickly ran out to Best Buy to get a replacement modem and picked up this one. So far, no issues at all. Was able to plug it in, right in place of the old one, and everything picked up and started working again - right where we were before the storm. Speeds are fine, and we have not had to reset it yet (knock on wood) - which we sometimes had to do with the older model. This is our third one of this brand and we would definitely recommend!
