It is a fast but solid performing cable modem. Handles multiple uploads and downloads very well. Just get it setup and pretty much forget about it.

Great modem for the price. Using Time Warner/Spectrum and delivers great speed. Lot's of streaming in the house the kids and this can definitely handle the 300 Mbs speed we have.

A modem is a modem is a modem. Bought this one to replace an older model that I thought was starting to burn out. Turns out the intermittent connectivity problem may be due to something other than the modem this one replaced. ALL that to say - this purchase replaced another SURFboard that was several years beyond its' expected lifespan. Product is seamless and works as it should.

I'm an xfinity customer and when I followed the prompts set up took less than 10 minutes. So far so good. Google WiFi says my speed is lightning fast.

Another excellent modem from Arris (formerly the Motorola Modems). The last one I had lasted 7years before I had to upgrade with increasing broadband speeds and hopefully this new 6190 is just as future proof. Most cable companies require a 16channel downstream bonding modem and this one has 32 to allow for some future overhead. Very satisfied. The modem has a very small form factor and stylish white. Only thing I and I'm sure many others wish the lights could be dimmed or turned off (they're glaring Bright in a dark room). I do love how the light pattern changes when modem is locked on and online though. Excellent purchase, highly recommended!
