I bought this to replace an earlier model Arris SB 6140 as part of an overall network hardware refresh. I was satisfied enough with Arris to buy a newer model of their product. This new one future-proofs my network as it supports downloads of up to 1.4 gbps if I decide to upgrade my Internet service. It was easy to install and activate with my Comcast service and easy to mount with the screw holes on the back. I would certainly buy again and recommend to friends.

This replaced an older different brand modem that failed without warning. This unit was purchased in-store, installed and working in less than an hour and has performed flawlessly for over a year. The biggest issue has been sometimes less than reliable service by my ISP provider. The color coded lights on the front panel are a good indication when the service is not "up to speed."

When I need consistency and speed (always) I like to get away from the provided modems. This model set up fairly easily and handles the speed and connections I need with ease

The goal was simple: Get rid of the monthly cable modem charge. On sale, the Arris 6190 will have paid for itself after six months. Intel has issued a firmware update to correct the lag/slowdown issue with the chipset in the modem and I've see no evidence of any problem after over 40 days of connect time. This includes streaming videos, music, gaming and data. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported. Currently on a plan that runs 400Mb and I can peg the download speeds. The channel spread gives me the headroom to increase my bandwidth in the future. it's all good!

Easy to set up, had to get Comcast involved for modem to be connected, speed and video streaming are great with multi systems being used same time

In wanted to want to take a little off the Internet billing from my ISP. Speed fast enough to support the Direct TV., wireless connections and three computers. It is Great!!!

Works great with our Google nest package! Very easy to connect everything and works well with our fast internet.

It's so ridiculously simple to install this modem, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Now I have fast internet and am no longer paying Cox a monthly rental.

Seems like this is getting us good speeds when we connect directly into the modem. It is nice and small. Now we just need to find a better wireless router so our WiFi speeds go up.
