This one replaced a SB6140 series modem at my home. The existing modem was working until we started having issues which as it turns out were on the out site of the house (carrier related). The speeds that I see with this new modem are definitely higher than the previous modem and so far with the adjustments made on the outside of the house the connection has been stable. Support from Arris was great. The technician was patient and helped me troubleshoot the issues so that I could tell the issues we were having were definitely related to the carrier.

Use about 3 weeks now, for Cox, very easy to set up, no issue found yet with 3 online gaming and 1 movie streaming simultaneously.

Easy setup and fast speeds. The status lights are super bright and I wish I could turn them down as it lights up the room but not a deal breaker.

Plug and play! Been running for close to a month nonstop now, and have had zero issues. Getting great speeds and a stable connection. Well worth the money if you don't want to rent a modem.

Not much to review on this product. It's sort of an appliance you need like a refrigerator, but not quite as exciting as a refrigerator. My cable Internet provider just needed me to upgrade my modem, so had to replace my old one. My Internet speeds are faster, I think. I haven't noticed a huge difference, but I don't tax my Internet speeds to the degree that I would notice. The unit is pure white, which I like very much because it makes the LEDs very bright. I don't sleep in that room but that might be a problem if the bright LEDs are in your bedroom.

don't waste your money on the cable company provided modem. this one will give much better speeds and performance and extra lease fee

Easy to set up. Does a great job and buying outright is cheaper than renting from the cable company.

It is awesome works like a charm size is small than others so doesn't require more space for that. Very easy to set it up . Worth the money i spent for it

I was using SB624 modem for the last 5 years and was very happy with it. But recently I upgraded my internet speed to 300Mbps and needed to upgrade the modem as well. So I bought SB6190 from Best Buy a month ago and I couldn't be happier. It is super fast and I am glad that I bought it. I recommend this modem to anyone who needs a higher internet speed. But it can be an overkill if you don't have internet speed above 100Mbps from your ISP.

The Surfboard SB6190 was very easy to install. I just had to connect the coax cable to it, an ethernet cable to it and the router, and provide the cable company the MAC and serial number. It is not compatible with Internet plans with panoramic wifi.

Small, sleek, easy to install. Good complement to our wireless home network. Excellent connection to all home devices.

Bought this to avoid the monthly fee from WOW cable. Easy to set up and no issues with compatibility to devices.

Works as expected for speed required with no set up problems

This modem is easy to set up and use. I connected it easily to my Samsung home connect system as well. I have had no issues with my wi-fi.

This new modem was easy to set up and by itself, has increased the speed of my network. I am a big fan and would recommend it to anyone.

My old cable modem got fried by a lightning strike. The SURFboard dropped right into place and enhanced my speed/network. Perfect. Good price.

Got this because of the additional channels and we were getting a new computer, so wanted everything to work as fast as it could. Still getting used to it all, but the modem connected easily and seems to work well.

Did it’s job. Never went down unless internet went down via ISP, never our side. Sleek white color and it is very compact.
