looks like it is superior to spectrums modem. i never have any primetime slow downs. i always get 235Mb per sec

This was purchased as needed for connecting to my internet provider. It works perfectly and there was no problem setting it up.

My husband gave me our old modem and I went to BB (50 miles away) to get a replacement. When I handed it to the clerk, he laughed and said it wasn't the modem; it was the router! So I gave him what info I had (which wasn't much!) and our service provider. He came back with this modem. It was exactly what we needed and is working perfectly! And I did explain to my husband the difference between the router and the modem!

I upgraded my Internet service to a faster speed, but in order to actually get that speed, I had to upgrade my cable modem. This one was a good price and could handle the speed that I was paying for. This modem will not, however, handle, 1000mbs down, so if you have that speed, you'll need to get a step up from this modem.The way I figured it, by the time I need a modem that fast, the 1000mbs modems will be a lot cheaper.

Tired of the sub par equipment provided by isp/cable providers (Charter/Spectrum) Very happy with our modem, constant speeds, no buffering issues streaming and no lagging issues with kids on game consoles and pc. Wish I did this a long time ago. Calling your isp setting up your modem is not music to their ears, their demeanor changes big time. Setting up modem with isp over the phone took about 20-25 mins. Review written after having modem for 3 months.

It works well and does what it is supposed to do. Easy to set up.

This router is incredible for the price. I am getting my full speed I am paying for if not more because of it.

Modem works as intended and reliable. I have installed quite a few of these modems for customers. You can install this modem with a Comcast triple play package if you do not going to use the Comcast phone service. You’re just going to need to get supervisor on the phone to get the old least modem off the account. Seems like Comcast reps are either too lazy or unknowledgeable on getting it done.

I have had this modem since July 2017 and not a single issue or disconnection from the internet yet. Speeds are great.

This was fast and easy to install. It reached throughout the house and we had no problems with connectivity.

Most of the time it works great. Replaced a cable provider unit that needed to be upgraded. But once in a while it drives me crazy. Purchased and installed a smart TV last night (via WiFi on the router). Today this unit stopped working (I am hard wired to the back of the modem with a desktop PC). I tried a couple of things, then unplugged and forced a hard reboot of both router and modem. Still nothing. Finally this modem decided to do another reboot without my help (lights off, came back in the proper order) and it finally came back and started working. The modem and the router are working together. Maybe the router is to blame, but I don't think so.

Very simple to setup. Had to call Suddenlink and 5 minutes later I was up. I get every bit of the speed I pay for.

The Arris surfboard was suggested by a member of the sales staff. Very happy with the unit. Seems especially easy to set-up as I am not very computer oriented. Much better than the unit it replaced.

I cut the cord! I opted to turn in my cable boxes and purchased rokus for our television viewing (PSVue) Household includes 2 Rokus, 3 IPads, 2 laptops, 4 iPhones, 2 gaming computers, and multiple accessories ( printers and etc. ). I replaced my Xfinity wireless modem/router and opted for the Surfboard and an ASUS router. Download speeds are now 250 Mbps (was 120 Mbps ) and upload at 20 Mbps. No crashing, pausing and full coverage in a 2800 sq ft home. Great recommendation Best Buy!

The Modem exceeded my expectations given that I previously purchased the more expensive Nighthawk modem and needed to return it. The problem with the nighthawk was that it did not activate with Comcast even though it says that it is comcast approved right on the box. Comcast could not get it to work. So back to the Arris. Setup and activation seamlessly uneventful.

Easy setup. Very fast. Easy to see display, large lights unlike so other modems.

Modem works great - easy setup on Spectrum - no problems and no disconnects!
