I upgraded my old docsis 3.0 modem to this device and now I have 100gbps speeds. Easy to set up. Requires a phone call to my is for them to provision the modem. Once that is done it works well.

This modem has been trouble free and fast. I expect it is best in the Arris line up for most people. I keep mine in a media closet upstairs and it seems to handle the heat with no problem. I read a lot about chip set issues on this, but it’s never failed by family of four active streamers/gamers! Consistently provides more speed than my plan advertises.

Provides greater than the 250 mbps that I pay for. Easy to set up. Worked perfectly right out of the box.

A definite have for anyone who is renting a modem. I am using this with my Comcast Cable Internet and was able to quickly get online with this modem. It took a few minutes to register the modem with Comcast Tech Support and I am getting over 30 more MPBS Download and 1 more MPBS as subscribed by my Service! All in all, you get more speeds with this Modem and very easy to setup.

So quality wise the arris modem like its previous known name "motorola" is solid and no errors when booting up. Due to the fact that I moved for the project expansion the company I work for is doing I have a capped speed of 25mb d/l and 1.5 u/l so when rating this I can say it is doing as required but id like to test it on a higher speed when I return home. Dont get me wrong as I said before this modem is solid on performance when you run speed test but I think the area servers here are limited. I still would purchase this one over linksys or Asus ...possibly Netgear as that's another modem I looked at on performance testing online. you wont go wrong with this modem

We had a previous Arris cable modem that lasted almost 10 years. The new modem is working great, as well as, we got great service from the crew at Best Buy.

We've been using a combination router modem for the past two years in our 2,000 sq ft home. We have interference issues related to a metal roof and extensive lightening rod system that prevent WiFi from working well. The solution that worked just ok was to have two routers. When the combo modem router failed we replaced it with the Surfboard and a Velop router. We're now seeing upload/download speeds in excess of 120/20, three to four times faster than previously!

This is 3rd Aris modem, not that it went bad but speed have increased and need new unit to catch up. Key decision on choosing this brand over the rest is it's combability with wider rage of providers.
