I purchased this to replace my old SB modem. Install was quick and easy and it has my internet working as it should!!

My cable company had increased their internet speed a few months ago, and I had a modem that I purchased through them. I could never get above 110 megabits per second even though their service said 300. I purchased this modem from Best Buy, and decided to pay a few dollars extra for the 1.4 GBps model because we are supposed to get 'gigabit speeds' in the next year or so. Hooked it up at home, was immediately getting the full 300 MBps I was supposed to be getting, and more.

This modm allowed me to return the one rented from the cable company. It is fast, easy to install, and saves me money.

I've been using it for about a month. It was easy to get it up and running. I'm loving the super fast speeds also.

When deciding which modem to get, the 32x8 (32 upload streams, 8 download) seems to be the best of the best today. Docsis 3.0 should be perfect for everyone that doesn't NEED 2 Gbps and is willing to buy the extra hardware for it. I don't think any tech should be labeled future-proof, but a great modem should get you pretty far, basically until you don't need a modem when you get fiber.

Great modem for the price. Runs my internet great with no interruptions.

Had the base model Arris modem that was only rated to 364MBps, upgraded my service to 400. Was only able to get 280 hardwired direct to the modem. Upgraded to this modem and BOOM.. Now I get 475!!! Quick call to Comcast to get it provisioned and everything was good to go. Very Happy with the purchase and I now have room for future speed increases.

So far so good. The xfinity router/modem was terrible and I kept getting knocked offline while working from home. This router and the Eero mesh system work really well together. No complaints. I am a very satisfied customer.

bought to replace older model... I unboxed and installed and then called my ISP to register/identify the device with them. and I was online in less than 5 minutes. This does not have router nor wifi capabilities so you must provide your own Router and WAP. I prefer this single purpose device as opposed to cable modems that have all three Modem/Router/WiFi built in. but your needs may differ. Talk to the Geeks if this doesn't make sense
