Gotta Love it! We purchased our NightHawk Router the same day. We were renting the Spectrum before we purchased our own. Man what a difference. We added on our own stronger VPN and FireWall. With the new router this modem is screaming!!!! We have no more buffering anywhere around the house. SWEET!!!! All of Apple and hmm hmm android products now work flawlessly.

We cut the cord and replaced our providers cable modem with the Arris SURFboard and it has handled all our needs without a hitch. We stream to 2 tvs, 3 computers, 2 phones and Alexa devices. when our children and grandchildren come the number of devices shoots up with phones, pads and gaming devises and we have not had any problems with the Arris keeping all devices on-line.

I had my previous Motorola Surfboard for over 5 years before it started showing signs of age. Then it turns out that Cox cable sent out a software update that made my modem disconnect from my apple wireless router. I purchased this new router not knowing that it was my cable provider's fault. However having already installing this new cable modem saw speeds that were incredible !

Size is small, dont take larger space, dont feel that much heat if you put it around. Great Modem so far.

This is a solid cable modem that I purchased for my sister-in-law who was still paying rental on her cable company supplied modem. It's super quick and very easy to set up (note: generally requires you to call the cable company so they can configure things on their end). Given what cable companies charge monthly for rental fees these days ($8-$10/mo) this unit pays for itself in under a year.
