Connected to Orbi router have not had any drops and speeds have been excellent. Super easy to set up.

This little Modem is small and quiet and I hardly know it's there, which is honestly exactly what I wanted - something I didn't have to keep fussing with and restarting. I've had it for about a month and very happy so far - no issues with my internet to date! Easy to hide away in a corner cabinet, too!

This is 3rd Aris modem, not that it went bad but speed have increased and need new unit to catch up. Key decision on choosing this brand over the rest is it's combability with wider rage of providers.

The setup instructions were oversimplified, as the color combinations for the indicator lights shown in the instructions didn't match what came up on my unit. I had to call both ARRIS and my ISP to get everything to work; the former to make sure that the light combinations were OK, and the latter to register my device so that they would send the internet signal to it. After spending much time on hold on the phone and getting to the answers for my questions, the device works exactly as promised so far. I'm using it as a base for a Google Wifi mesh system and it's going great.

Works well with XFinity 150Mbps service. Stock firmware should immediately be upgraded to take advantage of full speed and stability. Once upgraded, it performs very well.

I had been meaning to research my modem I had been charged to rent each month, and I decided to go with this model. It's working great, outputting data to my router perfectly, and it was easy to set up. I've had this for about a month and I was very pleased. Now I can start savings money on my monthly bill!

This modem was very easy to set up. It has been running 2 months so far and I have no complaints.

It's really hard to find any issues with these SURFboard modems. I've used many of them over the years. Getting them connected is super simple. Replace the modem you're renting with this one and save yourself some money. To hook it up, simply call your internet provider (ISP) and tell them you have a new modem. They'll ask you for some info that is clearly printed on the box and a few minutes later, you'll be up and running. Couldn't ask for more.

Plug and play setup, and delivers the fastest speeds of any modem out there. It's a no brainer

I made the decision to cut cable tv after 20 years, and enjoyed the experience of dropping off the equipment to their office. I had a combination modem/router rented from the cable company that was neither a good modem nor a good router. Although I was paying for "Premium 100" service, my speed test results were 47Mbps upload and 11 download. The new Arris Surfboard 6190 tested at 118Mbps and 12 Mbps download immediately upon installation. Enough said.

So far this modem has been a great upgrade over my previous, the Surfboard SB6141. I saw a mild speed bump over the previous because of how much larger bandwidth it can support over my previous modem, so that was great. It does get warm to the touch though. Overall I'm happy with the modem.

Bought this to replace a defunct cable modem. Easy plug and play. Only issue is manual described a light color configuration that the unit didn't display, called customer service and was told the manual was wrong and the colors I was seeing were correct- white, blue, blue, white. Good customer service. I just had to call my cable internet provider and give them the appropriate data and I was up and running.

Seems to work great, it was super simple to install and I have great internet speed.
