I needed this so that we could download with out stalling. It works fast and I haven't had any problems.

This is a fantastic product and I am very satisfied with my purchase. It was relatively easy to set up and I don't have any connection issues.

Bought this modem to go with my linksys mesh network and so far it has handled my device load very well. Speeds are good and nothing shows signs of lagging. Only thing I don't like about it is that it only has 1 LAN port that has to be dedicated to the router. Yes, Arris makes a modem with a 2nd LAN port but it is about $80 more.

The fastest cable modem under 100 dollars out there. It was best deal to replace my last cable modem that died after 4 years. This model comes with a 2 year warranty and set speeds of 32 download & 8 upload channels. Just need to replace my router with a nighthawk router to get full wireless speed throughout the house. If you want to save money on modem rental from your ISP and get the full speeds you are paying for get this cable modem.

This cable router worked like a gem right out of the box. All I had to do was call my cable provider, gave them the ID written on the box (and under the router) and I was up and running in no time! Great buy for the price. Save yourself some money and quit renting your cable modem from the cable company! (I had to connect a personal wireless router to this cable modem.)

This was an impulse purchase. I was looking at routers and saw a display of cable modems. I'd been renting a modem/router from my cable company, because I got tired of them pointing at my old modem when I had a service problem. The service problem was resolved, and I figured ditching the rented modem would pay for itself in a few months. This unit is tiny, which is nice. It works fine, and I had no trouble provisioning it myself.

After researching and talking to my internet provider I chose this Modem. I went to my own Modem after having two modems fail from my internet provider and slower speeds than what I was paying for. I have 400 Mbps and I was only getting 200 from the provider. So I got the Dashboard that was rated up to 1.4GBps if I decided to upgrade my speed. I have no trouble streaming movies of working from home. Great product.

You’re probably wondering why I gave five stars to a product that didn’t work with my cable company. The reason is that the cable company doesn’t support the advanced standards of this modem. It’s a cable company issue not a modem issue. That being said the modem itself is well-built, well packaged and was easy to set up. If you have a compatible cable service like Comcast you will do well to consider this modem.

I've yet to get any problems with this router; if I do, I'll be quick to change/edit this review. It DOES take a while to boot or reboot; might that be related to its Energy Star rating? Hmmm curiouser and curiouser. When you call your ISP to register this unit, recognize that the boot up process and signal detection might take longer than what you might be used to if you are accustomed to other DOCSIS 3.0+ modems and "gateways."

This modem is very fast. Faster than any internet service right now. It should be adequate for years to come.

We were not getting the benefit of all out Comcast Internet and our Internet was cutting out, but service from Comcast was not the issue. Upgrading to this modem solved our service interruption issues and increased our speed. Eventually, we'll need to replace our router as well, but for now we're more than satisfied. I also purchased one of these for my mother's home, and her internet works much better too.
