We purchased this modem to make us completely free of cable company monthly charges. A few more months and the purchase price of the unit will be recovered. So far no issues and we have purchased the extended warranty for all the components used to make us non dependent on the equipment we rented from Internet provider.

Had to get a new modem and I selected this one. I installed it and have had no problems with it. It does a great job

So to start off, my internet plan with comcast is 150mbps. My old modem was the motorola sb6121, i was getting 130mbps download speed with this modem. I bought this modem because it was the best they offered and to future proof. With this modem i was getting 174 mbps consistently! That's a 44 mbps increase!! It's also great owning this modem so i don't have to lease one from the cable comp. Great buy!!

For years I wondered why my internet was bogging down during peak hours. Called the cable company and made sure I was on their fastest plan. At least that is what I have been paying for. Now by upgrading to my own modem instead of the company issued one we are now experiencing the speed that we have been paying for. Simple installation and works flawlessly with our new Orbi router.

The size is small which i like it more it doesn't get hot easily. Perfect.

This modem pulls fast DL speeds with the correct internet speed package. I had been using the standard Comcast modem for a year and upgrades modem and router as well. It was a huge change of speed. From 15mbps to well over 150mbps on Blast+ with hard wired peripherals. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

We purchased this modem to replace our ISP modem. I'm not a tech geek, so I relied heavily on Best Buy's recommendation. We are not disappointed because we had good service and still do.

Installation of the SB6190 was a breeze. Just plugged in and opened my browser and it walked me right through the steps to setup. Had to contact Comcast afterwards just to have them provision as is always the case when replacing or installing a new Cable modem. The connection have been uninterrupted with noticeable speed increases from my previously purchased from Bestbuy Motorola Arris SB6121 which was excellent as well for the life of the router.

It does what it's supposed to do. Haven't had any issues weve been running for a month straight so far.

The ARRIS - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem enables up to 1.4GBps data transfer rates off cable internet services that support high speeds. I installed it in Truckee CA and the cable speed went from 192MBps to 498MBps. It handles up to 32 simultaneous channels down and 8 up. I tested the speed using a Pakedge RK-1 gigabit router and an Ethernet wired connection to a MacBook Pro.

great modem so far very fast and very spacious... small but terrible.

For the price I am satisfied with good speeds and reliable performance.
