Upgraded the home internet and need a new modem. Having the old surfboard that was very reliable and easy to use, this was an obvious choice and recommended for the ISP. Set up was a breeze, the ISP took a bit to find the MAC on the device, bit once it synced, haven't had an issue since.

I was receiving less than what i was paying for with my interned service and decided to upgrade my ARRIS modem to this version and doubled my speed and now receive 300m vs 100m while paying for 250m.

Somewhere along the way we had purchased a Zoom modem that we had for years. It was still working but we ran into frequent intermittent internet service and decided it was time to upgrade. The upgrade proved to be just what the doctor ordered and we haven't had a single service interruption since buying the Arris Surfboard. Super easy to set up.

Arris cable modems seem to be the best choice for Spectrum ISP. This is an Internet modem only, no phone, no TV ports. Best Buy sales rep recommended he advised against a combination modem, TV, ports also, use with 1GB router. Cons are: the modem runs hot and has very bright LED's (but can be turned off but that defeats their purpose).

i own a nighthawk XR500 that pair perfectly with this modem i haven't get any Lag problem so far since bought it the only problem is the x1 compatibility for those who like x1 in my case i use my gaming router phone app to configure and check everything

I purchased this to get faster download speeds on my home network for better signals on my various rokus and other internet devices. We had the previous Arris surfboard modem and had no problems with it other than it was limited to a lower amount of dl from comcast. This one is capable of greater speeds and so when three rokus are going, two hi-def, one standard, we now don't get the picture dropping to a lower signal/pixelation. I hope this continues as we've only had this a short while now.

I had been paying for Xfinity equipment rental fees for years, but I finally wised up and bought this Arris unit. No issues whatsoever thus far - just needed to call Comcast to activate it, and it’s working great. I’m using the Google WiFi mesh network with 3 access points and I’ve been very pleased with my internet’s performance.

Have had this modem for a number of months now. Previously, I would have to reset the cable companies modem multiple times per week and service seemed slower. I have not needed to reset this once and our overall speed has increased slightly. Well worth it considering what I was leasing theirs for, I will only have to wait a year to make my money back.
